- Balance. That's what world-class Highliner and Onewheel Flow State Ambassador Ryan Robinson wanted to talk about when we spent a few days with him in Northern California. It just wasn't the balance we expected. That morning he graced the home page of CNN as we drank coffee and watched a video of him walking a line above the clouds in Brazil. Ryan has highlined all over the world, occupying spaces that only very few people on this planet will ever experience. For context, there are more NFL Quarterbacks than professional Highliners. So how does someone pioneer a sport and manifest this unlikely livelihood? For Ryan, the catalyst was a 'successful' desk job that forced him to realize that he wasn't living the inspired life he knew he should.

The few seconds of trail riding was awesome, those trails, and his riding looked awesome for a second there, wish that it was 4 min of that. The slack lining was good too, I suppose. I was just expecting it to be Onewheel focused I guess. I absolutely love how he totally doesn’t come across like a self serving d-bag. Want to talk about balance while only doing what you want to do... Sweet, but some of the best professionals (extreme sports athletes Olympians, car /motorcycle racers, etc) have had to hold down jobs they don’t like, to pay the bills until they got to the level. That’s true legend status. Getting to where you want to be without having to abandon those around you.
Ok you guys killed this one. When it was over I was like that was 4min. The story telling with the visuals was impressive.

Holy crap-how did you know? This message goes right through me. Within this last week I'm saying goodbye to my dad, tightening up my marriage, reassessing my career and needing to Onewheel more. Balance ... Breath... Thank you for the inspiration.

Welp...I'm new to the ONEWHEEL world "3days in" and I'm excited to the point that I've downloaded the app and been looking at vidz everyday now. I'm obsessed already and I don't even have 1 YET! This video got me so stoked that I quit my job right after I saw it. I want to live without the constraints of a 9-5 job!
I told my parents about my plans and they actually said "Are you out of your f**king mind?" And this was AFTER I showed them this video! They even had the nerve to turn down my request for a brand new pickup and a $1000 skateboard! They are so uncool!
They told me that I can do anything I want with my life but they aren't going pay me to do it. So harsh, right? They don't love me at all.
Anyway I just wanted to ask Ryan to ask his parents if they would support me too in my quest for individuality and freedom. Ryan, once they agree let me know and I will send you my banking information.
I can't wait to get out there and live my dreams!

Onewheeling and slacklining go together perfectly. I do it all the time. My onewheel helps me get to the spot and travel back and forth between my trees during my set up. Sick video, keep up the good work!
