Flickies have dimensional powers (way before powerful monsters like Solaris came into the picture) so Robotnik getting control of them would be disastrous for everyone.
One of the most memorable themes in the Saturn version of Sonic 3D Blast if you ask me, and for good reason; this gives me the vibe that this situation seems hopeless, but despite that Sonic continues to move forward with a determined look on his face, prepared for the final confrontation with Dr. Eggman that lies ahead of him...
Yes you can feel the hopelessness and torment of the animals robotnik is torturing. But sonic is the one ray of light that can save them from hell in earth and death. All of their hope now lays with him…
That's not quite the vibe I'm getting. What I'm getting is Eggman growing increasingly desperate. Sonic is practically on his front door step, he doesn't even have time to roboticize the Flickies, and it's a race against time to prepare his doomsday weapon before Sonic sabotages his scheme once more
I was first introduced to this at the age of 8 on my hand-me-down gateway 2000 computer running Win98. I'm 25 now and still listening to mostly electronic music today. This game set my taste in music up for life.

Damn, what?! I wouldn't have caught that unless you said something. You can hear it slightly at the start, but then the sample starts to fade, but it comes back in the chorus and they really sampled it super uniquely and turned it into something new.
Correct! The small inversions of that motif. I think it’s extremely creative to use the same melody line but make it different in every song. Very cool
Looking back at it as an adult, especially with the tube in his nose, it kinda looks like the Eggman statue was snorting cocaine (with Sonic being the obvious) 🤔 How the hell Sega got away with this without anyone noticing this for years is beyond me. 🤔🤣
Sup TailsFan10 I honestly didn’t expect you to comment on one of my favorite tracks from Sonic 3D Blast ( Saturn ) as this is a banger especially at 1:53 also I don’t know if you’ve seen or heard Sonic 3D Blast Gene Gadget Zone Act 2 ( Saturn ) OST yet but you can check it out if you want ua-cam.com/video/zXuVBDTi_hg/v-deo.htmlsi=CvBtsDNr_u3fYijA
Sonic 3D has such a cool soundtrack. I like it on both the Genesis and the Sega Saturn. But I have to say this. I prefer Panic Puppet Act 2 music on the Genesis.
For simply saving a bunch of fucking birds they gave this shit an end of the world vibe.
"A bunch of fucking birds" lol

This song is amazing. I love the way the synth reacts to the bass drum.
If I had a nickel for every Puppet Panic Act soundtrack in this version of the game, I'd have 2 nickels
How the heck did I find you here, like honestly this is the last place I'd expect you to be
Nice to see people still come back to this wonderful song
Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.
@Zyphon unless you get the japanese version
huh getting into 3d blast music aren't you (the genesis version is better idk what to tell you other than that)
This song is so good that they used it in Japanese version twice: for act 1 and for act 2
Such an awesome final level theme. Really pumps you up, almost like you've gotta race to stop Robotnik before it's too late. Great stuff.
why is this stuck in my head

I played this on my old Windows 98 PC lol, when I was a child !
death’s dynamic shroud samples this on the song “Stay”
Damn, what?! I wouldn't have caught that unless you said something. You can hear it slightly at the start, but then the sample starts to fade, but it comes back in the chorus and they really sampled it super uniquely and turned it into something new.
I could easily see this playing in a futuristic anti gravity racing game like wipeout or FAST 🤘
...or Sonic Riders
I love WipEout!!
I've had this bloody song stuck in my head for over 20 years because of some Newgrounds video I don't even remember, I have finally found the source.
This track JAMS!
Perfect for a Sonic vs Metal battle.
Lost Impact but Maria doesn't get murdered.
I love the fact that death's dynamic shroud sampled this on darklife lol

what kinda crack was i on 1 year ago? i can clearly hear now the motif in every track, i guess i just didn't hear it back then lmao

This kinda reminds me of S.I.R. from Disney's old Alien Encounter attraction... like I can see him dancing in a futuristic club to this!

I thought more like Sonic was a bogie, as a kid. Heck, I feel that way now!
probably a metaphor for snorting... speed...
feels like this should be in tekken
I have been searching for this song for days, and I finally found it.
The first time I heard this, I didn't know it came from a Sonic game. That's how uncharacteristically good it is!
Heard this song atleast 14 years ago. Discovered today it is from a sonic game 👍
Good music isn’t uncharacteristic of Sonic at all
I also saw it in a x men fighting game combo video, at least the first 25ish seconds
thanks for making my puppet panic, now im panicking
I could see a remixed version of this song fitting the vibe of Sonic Frontiers 0:38
We going to a zero gravity rave with this one 🤩
Beautiful
HOW is 1:53 SO good!?
I remember when playing this track, I would sometimes skip ahead to this... It's so atmospheric, so heavy, so emotional with the theme.
as the sunset... this plays as the camera zooms out... it was an amazing party!
Also used for act 1 on the japanese version of the game.
I heard this track was remixed for Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood for a certain map level
The music in Sonic Chronicles was atrocious. Also Richard Jacques was very rude to Tee Lopes.
