Hey, I just stumble across your video 'cause I guess I thought the title was interesting :) I have some thoughts on what I'd would've liked to see in the video to keep my interest. I know you haven't asked for any feedback at all so take it or leave it 😄 It's no hate just my thoughts. ☺ 1. I like that the video is short, but wouldn't mind like 1-3 min longer if the content is interesting 2. You didn't share so much of your work day which was truthfully what I was expecting to see in the video because of the title. I understand if you maybe aren't allowed to share videos of your screen because of the privacy in the code but if I got to choose I would have liked to see some time-lapses of you working from a couple different angles but of course with either blurring the screen or just not having the screen in frame :) It gives a more immersive experience to us (me) watchers I think to see that. Right now the video mostly contained your free time with cooking/shopping etc. (which is good to keep in the video but just a better balance between work/breaks 3. The same as last point about time-laps when reading the book. It might sound like a silly thing but changing the camera angle between you talking about the book and you starting the time-laps of you reading the book will also help the video by giving a visual queue that there's something new happening (you going from talking about it to reading it). 4. This might just be because I'm a new time viewer so forgive me if you've already explained this in earlier videos. But when you talked about you being in the office and then also referring to downstairs as the living room I got confused to if you're in the company's office or in your own home. My guess is that you was in your home and just referred to the upstairs room as your home office but I'm not sure :) A small and silly thing but thought I would mention it as you might hopefully continue to gain new viewers who are interested in how your day as a software engineer looks like, and that (to me at least) consist also of where from you can work ☺ Again, this is 100% voluntary to read and take part of but I guess I felt I wanted to share my thoughts as I think this type of video has a lot of potential but I felt it was missing a few things for me to wanting to see more. Hey! Thank you for the feed back here I will absolutely take this onboard and make some changes! You made a really good point about changes the camera angles which I absolutely need to do! I’ll also include some more time lapses into that to show more of what I’m doing. I wish I could actually show my screen but that’s a big no no and wouldn’t sit well with work. I can try talk about what I’m doing however I would just need to not be super specific. I do actually also work in the office but we can’t film in there as there’s strict rules about that, so when I refer to the office I just mean my home office 😅
