- As first violinist in The Philadelphia Orchestra, David Kim is tasked with helping his fellow musicians in sometimes subtle ways. Outside the concert hall, he also works hard to represent the orchestra. In this interview, Kim talks about the ins and outs of being the concertmaster of one of the world’s best orchestral institutions.

One time David and I and our families we're at the Pittsburgh zoo I'm native American and a nice lady came up and commented how cute are they Brothers and David just gave this look and commented we're not even from the same country

No, he doesn't. It's called retaking your bow. Either you are not a violinist, or back to the lessons for you:-).
@amierichan1428 in an orchestra you want your section to be matching, clearly no one else in the 1st violin section did a bow retake yet the concert master is the only one because he was running outta of bow 😂
