Why do you think it took long before God open Rachel's womb?
I don't believe nor think God "closed" her womb before the due time so to speak.
I suspected it was because of Rachel's health. The bible says that she died right after giving birth the 2nd time ( Benjamin ). Rachel was quite skinny , and the fact that she needed mandrakes just so that she could finally give birth explains a lot.
Or more accurately Leah's case was different simply because God wanted to bless her with more children simply because of Jacob's affection was given more to Rachel than Leah.
@@JesusLovesOfficial so it's like one is blessed with Jacob's affection while the others is blessed with children from Jacob?

God blessed Leah to have more children or to bore children first was because He saw that Leah was loved lesser by Jacob. Because originally Jacob wanted to marry Rachel not Leah. Leah was placed in a situation by his "stupid" father for "doing a custom/cultural" marriage. In a sense , God pitied Leah and decided to give her more/lots children. And Leah really was happy having so much children. Not bad yk , she bore like 7 children or probably even more.
