Never heard of pirate metal before this, but the name alone radiates such bad-assery that my left hand fell off and a hook has taken its place, I have grown a full beard and I just got a letter in the mail saying that I have inherited an 18th century sailing vessel.
I have a music room in my basement in Animal Crossing, but seeing more and more pics/vids of amazing outdoor set-ups makes me realize my basement is way tooooo small for all the instruments in this game!
Glad to see I wasn't the only one to think 'piratey' on this. My whole island is pirate themed and I have skull radios hidden everywhere playing Lucky K.K.
I like the cover but I'm pretty sure its not pirate themed its based off Irish folk music hence 'lucky' which is often associated with Ireland. The cover art for the track in game depicts kk holding a bag pipe and also has celtic writing on suggesting its Irish Music
Turns out many pirates were from the UK so it tracks that the two styles are similar...therefore you can be correct and K.K. Lucky can still be pirate metal :D
the two go hand in hand, really!! most modern "pirate songs" have irish roots; hence why so many pirate playlists on spotify have irish punk or drinking songs!
