"dad was right again" I am fortunate to still have my dad at age 89 he still works full time and that man is so right every time! I love him and am so proud of him. he is my hero. I can see you feel the same about you dad!
I would try spraying Deer and Rabbit Repellant around the vehicles and equipment. I use it to control squirrels and chipmunks and it really works. Hello Granny.
Like all your videos here in NC in a small town called Lake Waccamaw!! I'm Native American and I like that you show that people of color know how to farm too plus I grew up on a farm we had about 100 acres of tobacco and 1000 of corn and beans!!! It was a small farm 🚜
A good way to stop rodents from chewing your wires is to spray a peppermint oil and water mixture (I use 40 drops of peppermint oil to about 28 oz of water) once a week on both of my vehicles under the hood. This has completely stopped any rodent activity. There are videos on UA-cam that show how rodents really hate the smell of peppermint oil as well.
LMAOOOOO @ "come on boy". Sounds like my dad. Then asking for the hammer, because he's getting aggravated & tired of fucking with it. Hahahaha. That's hilarious
Good morning Granny. Daniel I had a snake crawl out of the battery box between the gear shifts on a John Deere 2440 going to plow cotton one day. Tell dad we all make mistakes on the farm. Love too see them green streaks in the field
Last fall, my wifes jeep got attacked by the rodent population around here. They cut the wires to the oil pressure sensor and some other stuff. It was still drivable, though. Luckily, there was a place in Hattiesburg that did wiring harness repairs and they fixed it up. The insulation on wires now is plant based which makes it very attactive to rodents. There are some products out there that you can get from Amazon or the farm supply store that are made for rodent repellent in and around vehicles. Most have some combination of garlic and peppermint oil. We got some that come in pouches and put them in all our vehicles. So far so good. Pretty stout smelling!
My dad was always right. I learned that at a young age. He would say (I'll clean this up a little), "If I tell you an ant can pull a bale of hay, you hook it up." Every time the slightest doubt entered my mind, he proved to be right again. I sure do miss him. One more famous saying of his was "My biggest problem is trying to find something I don't already know." It may sound narcissistic, but you just would have had to know my dad. He had a fantastic, dry sense of humor.
A mechanic once told me several years ago that if you disconnect the battery, it will reset the codes, but if there's still a problem, it will come back on.
I live about 20 minutes from the T-L plant, we put a bunch of T-L pivots up years ago because we were so close to the plant. However in the summer I feel like I live over there, oil leaks get incredibly old
We have sprayed corn coming out of the ground just like that with 32-0 it burns it but it comes they it but any bigger might have to side dress but it looks like a good start to the season
One thing about it, your dad & all those older black dudes around have one thing we only have a limited amount of: and that's experience. I was always raised/taught to shut the hell up & just watch & listen. It's not failed me yet in my 32 years.
Any of this new stuff autos, tractors Refrigerator, computer ect ect . Cutting the power like you did resets everything. Anything with computer and boards this is the first thing I do.
Wherever your truck is parked for a while, like overnight is where the squirrels are getting in. Put Lucy on the job, she’ll take care of those squirrels. 😎
Great video Dan you two guys Crack me up working together. No problem with knee high by the 4th of July!!! Oh and it was 16deg here in lower Michigan this morning.
Hello, first I really enjoy watching your videos, they are very instering. But to save time and guessing, invest in a scan meter, that way all ypu have to do is plug it in and it will tell you what is wrong or bad, it plugs right into the module right under the steering wheel, you might not like that idea but I thought I would share it, take care.
Seems like you have a pack rat. When I camp in the State and National Parks in the south, the rangers warn me, in the evening, to place a strobe light under the hood and leave the hood propped open slightly. I use a small block of wood to keep the hood propped up a few inches. I purchased a cheap, triple "a" battery powered strobe light from Walmart. The rats did not return.

We’ve had rain in West Texas, 3/4” year-to-date. That 3” would be so nice to have here.

We knife our corn in at 60 gallons per acre. 30-0-02. With a fertilizer rig.
Good morning Granny. Daniel I had a snake crawl out of the battery box between the gear shifts on a John Deere 2440 going to plow cotton one day. Tell dad we all make mistakes on the farm. Love too see them green streaks in the field

Your corn is already coming up, but up north, they are still shoveling snow! Thanks again for a great channel.
Put a piece of black electrical tape over the service engine light. Works like a charm!

Dad is right a lot
I got a couple of bassett hounds that'll take care of the rat and squirrel problem. Lol
Squirrels or chipmunks like to store acorns. I enjoy hunting them.
When dad hollered for Wayne, I almost said, “what?” 😂
Tell Wayne Wayne said hello.
A mechanic once told me several years ago that if you disconnect the battery, it will reset the codes, but if there's still a problem, it will come back on.
Peppeint oil has worked for me as well.
Love it! Your Dad is a wealth of wisdom. Great video, looking forward to watching your upcoming season. Stay safe and Have a productive year.
Thank you
Your help is awesome, we need to see more of them and hear some of their stories.
Ahh!! The old cardboard mattress, used all over the planet by fitters,I remember it well.
Gosh Granny another week almost
in the books. How time is flying.
Hope all is well with you, take care !!
It is amazing how much damage a little sign can do to a tailgate.
I live about 20 minutes from the T-L plant, we put a bunch of T-L pivots up years ago because we were so close to the plant. However in the summer I feel like I live over there, oil leaks get incredibly old
I put moth balls in a sock and hang in every vehicle and no problems with rodents. Hoping for a great crop season.
Never doubt your dad, a valuable lesson to all boys! Love the channel, keep it up!

The plate the gearbox sits on comes off. You can make a wide plate and weld a pin to the plate it will be safer
Morning Granny. Corn looks good. Hope it makes high yeilds this fall
When your swinging the tools fast forward is the way to go looks good
Good Morning
Thanks for sharing. The ultimate "reset" for electronics is remove power for 10+ seconds.

Promising cornfield.👍 Bad with inmates in the wrong place for you. Your guests surely thought is was great.😊
Excellent work / job detail
You might have to set up a game camera to investigate...Flying squirrels are common in Bama.
Your fine to spray it now but don't wait much longer
Mr Dan has probably forgot more than I know Daniel. It's funny how something simple sometimes is the best idea. God bless
Cramps, a buddy of mine developed Biolyte. IV in a bottle

Dad said your too voung to get cramps
Don’t underestimate the squirrel will eat the abs cable
Couldn’t believe you had to loosen the entire drive line to get the gear box installed. Hopefully it will dry out to lt you get the corn sprayed.
trade it if mice are in there you will be chasing electric problems
Your Dad is one working man for his age, don't make many like him!

U gotta get to washin that motor off under that hood!*
This question may have been asked already. Do you guys own another business or share property with another company.
🙂💯🖐👌🏼
You must have rats where you live might need to place bait stations around your property
Why do we need hood latch sensors? One of the most useless sensors they have thought of.
Squirrel 🐿️ has just made the list. Daniel did you send in a crew to rid you of your rodent problem?
It’s not chipmunks in your truck is it
I'd put some bait under the hood like he said.
If you close your hood your light will go out
Too young for cramps!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
When you unhook the battery it resets the computer
You better have the number for 911 handy because you dad is going to have a heart attack when he finds out how much a new tailgate is going to cost!
CHIPMONKS!
