Tanya that is a "WOW" bowl. That bowl sure is loaded with character. Thank You for posting!
Thank you 🥰
It is gorgeous wood 🪵
The red elm grain is amazing and you did a great job. It's absolutely beautiful.
Thank you 🥰
First time seeing red
Elm beautiful wood and you did s magnificent bowl wit it Tanya thanks for sharing. Tim
Thank you 😊
Red Elm is an amazing wood. I am hoping to get more of it.
Good afternoon, Tanya.
It is agreed, Red Elm is a beautiful wood. Your bowl is stunning. Thumbs up for sure.
Thank you 😊
Every thing you makes just blows me away. The shape, the color, and grain, lets it forget the finish. It all adds up to a very successful turning. Keep up the good work. Enjoy the evening, get out and enjoy the fall season.
Thank you 😊
Once again beautiful piece have a great weekend
Thank you 🥰
Hi 👋, Tanya , I hope you are all keeping safe and well, what a great looking 👀 Bowl 🍲, what with crickets and spiders you soon have a zoo,😂, I thought at first, it was justified, recording, and then your receipt said you’ve got crickets,
Love the grain , I look forward to sharing a cup of coffee with you next week on your next turning project, 😂,
Stay safe, Phil from the moulin
Thank you 😊
My kids can't stand hearing the crickets all the time. Sometimes, I think I live in a zoo. With 2 dogs, two teenagers, 12 crickets, and a green cheek conure squawking, it can get a little loud. 🤣
Sorry I missed your coffee, I was getting ready to go back to the Uk, I am playing catch up at the moment, though I’ve been back for three or four days, had to catch up on some sleep, after travelling nearly 700 miles in One Direction, only stopped for an hour and a half break,
Then spent a day emptying the van , I’m now in the process of cleaning loads of Sash clamps, as they’ve gone a bit rusty in storage, and I’ve taken my tailstock all apart, and rebuilt it, apart from the electronics on it, I’ve put it back as a basic tailstock, for the time being.
Look forward to having coffee with you tomorrow, Wednesday, the 8th of November , stay safe, Phil from the moulin France.
Wow! What a beautiful piece of wood! And a beautiful bowl!
Take care, Dave
Thank you 🥰
I just love Red Elm. It is such a beautiful wood.
The red elm is beautiful. It reminds me of mesquite with less movement in the grain. I’m in full agreement about reshaping the bottom. Looks much better. Nicely done!
Thank you 🥰
I am glad I took that extra step to change the bottom. It made it look so much better.
Yet another outstanding job Tanya!
Thank you 😊
Excelente trabajo, esa restauración quedó hermosa, no nesesita nada mas, cómo siempre, sus piezas quedan sensacionales, un cordial saludo querida amiga.
Thank you 😊
Fantastic bowl! Beautiful bowl as usual.
Thank you 🥰
That is beautiful wood, and a beautiful bowl.
Thank you 🥰
Beautiful bowl and I like the Spider
Thank you 😊
Great bowl Tanya you really have made that spider stand out I love it
Thank you 😊
I liked the little spider. I made this bowl to give to friends of mine that put on the get to gather for the firewood hoarders club that processes firewood for people in need. I spent the last 2 days helping the group for families who need wood.
WOW!!! That is a beautiful bowl full of amazing grain pattern and character. God Bless you and your family.
Thank you 🥰
God bless you and yours as well.
Wow it’s gorgeous Tanya amazing work like always. 😁 You absolutely did justice to that piece of Red Elm.
Thank you 🥰
Red elm is beautiful wood. I have a couple big billets of it and a slab or 2. Beautiful work!
Thank you 🥰
I am pretty sure this was my last blank of red Elm 🥺
Beautiful bowl, Tanya. 😊
Thank you 🥰
That's awesome Tanya! Love the Red Elm it looks so amazing!
Thank you 🥰
Hope to see you at Walt's this weekend!
Plan is for early Saturday morning.
Love the contrast on the heartwood and sapwood. Great job once again. I have school Saturday and fly out Sunday for training in Las Vegas. Post video or pictures from Walt's place and please tell everyone i said hello. Even Steve !! LOL. Have a great weekend
Thank you 😊 We missed you! Can't wait to see you at the next one 😊
Excellent job 👏
Thank you 😊
Cool
This is a beautiful size bowl with outstanding grain and color pattern! Love that finish tone and the spider is an unusual PLUS!!! I don't really know that much about moisture content, but 12% seem pretty high for a piece that sat around over a year! Great video, as always!!
Thank you 🥰
When I rough turned it, it was at 36% moisture. I don't like to turn a finished bowl if it is over 12%. I found anything over that changes shape way to much.
Another nice bowl! Red Elm alwats has a beautiful grain pattern. I just lucked up and my brother in law next door cut down a cherry that is about 30” in diameter so I’m looking forward to turning a Buch of things from it! To bad ya’ll ain’t close by cause you could get a LOT of it. Keep them shavings flying and look forward to your next project!
Thank you 😊
I wish we lived closer as well. I love cherry. It makes beautiful salad bowls 🥣
Very nice as always 🎉
Thank you 😊
Nicely done!
Thank you 😊
Very nice. I liked the way you explained how you applied the water lox finish. Just got some for the first time and have a piece I plan on trying it out on. So thanks and I will try to apply it the way you described. 😊
Thank you 😊
Let me know if you have any questions. tsbecher745@gmail.com
That is one of the prettiest bowls that I have seen.
1- was Steve sharpening his knives at the first of the video.
2- what was the cricket sounds again.
Thank you 🥰
He was sharpening his 395xp ported Husqvarna chainsaw.
The crickets are for my albino paceman frog Bogart 🐸
You changed your music intro.
I had to because I was getting copyright all of a sudden.

That’s so stupid. What can they do?
Fantastic bowl! Beautiful bowl as usual.
Thank you 🥰
