    I'm sure that matching every element manually like this will be more accurate, but how much better is this method than just using the Color Match feature? I have a feeling that over time the Color Match feature will only get better at analyzing a reference frame and then applying the necessary contrast and color adjustments. Thanks for another great tutorial!

    I usually enjoy the little entertainment in the videos but I think this video was too much. I think it was getting too much distraction and I can clearly see that Timon was also getting confused for what's happening.
    I am a huge fan of this channel so please don't take this as a hate comment but just as a constructive feedback

    A question not related to this video but very important:
    What is the key combination so that you get the marker for different clips to adjust them to the exact same length?

    • @BpointShow
      @BpointShow 10 місяців тому

      Do you mean the Marker on top of the clips in your timeline or the marker you can put in the clip in your timeline?
      If it's the 1st one, then press and hold 'alt' on your keyboard, then click on the marker and now you can adjust the dimension of your marker to your liking. You can also double click on the marker and from there you can change different properties, such as the length, color or name of the marker.
      Hope this was what you were looking for. Cheers!

    • @Fedor_Dokuchaev_Color
      @Fedor_Dokuchaev_Color Рік тому +2

      Hi! Digital colorist here :)
      You can use same HSL keyer in Davinci to match the colors. But no professional would actually do it that way - it consumes a lot of time and should be done for each shot.
      To copy a look you usually have to analyze contrast, colors and saturation of the image and then recreate them with more broad tools at your disposal: lift, gamma, gain, offset, contrast and sat curve.
      Then, as you get closer to the intended look, you can continue to work with individual shots.

    @premiere Basics great tutorial, but i i do have a remark, u cant be making a tutorial to teach people especially people who might be new to either the software or the process u are describing and interupting the video after a few seconds to insert you guys laughing and all. i do understand that it seems fun and make the video seemingly more interesting but it breaks the immersion. cant even focus on the tutorial. and its so distracting.

    The techniques shown here oversimplify the process, and may give viewers the wrong impression of how "easy" color grading is. This could unintentionally mislead aspiring colorists and fail to do justice to the intricate skill sets that professionals in the field have painstakingly developed over the years.
    Color grading is an intricate art that requires not only the right skills but also the right tools to achieve the desired results. Misleading viewers into believing they can achieve the same results with significantly inferior tools is damaging to the understanding and respect for the profession.
