Such a beautiful hike, lots of interesting plants along the way. I was amazed by the amount of people there ut you can understand why the views are amazing.
Stunning views! Looked a superb hike. Don't know how you had any energy left to run to the view point on the way down! What a beautiful country New Zealand is. Another place I would love to visit. Cheers. Eddie.
Thanks so much for watching, we were in New Zealand this time last year! We loved it there so much! You're right too it wasn't too hot when we did Roys Peak, the temperature was just right for us, as it was for the majority of our time there really!
WoW ! Awesome hike and so much rewarding getting up there . I can understand you going crazy as soon as there’s a spot with nobody around ...it was very cool seeing you alone there and the slow motion was nice and funny 😆 You are lucky to be in shape like this Hélène my wife has a sore knee and cannot hike much more than 1 or 2 km ...😢 so sometimes she let me go alone and wait . The red flowers at 2:04 we have the same in our backyard we call them in French " Coque lourde " probably not the real name but we have a lot of them they grow very easy and spreads everywhere. Nice day hike so beautiful up there ! TFS H&S 👩❤️👨🌈 From Boisbriand Québec Canada 🇨🇦
Hello, my friends!! New Zealand is definitely in my list...It's really wonderful with all its nature, landscapes, things to do and see....WOW!! Thanks for let me discover this amazing Country so well with your adventures!! BIG embrace!! All the best. Renata
Loved that end bit, inspired. I find slow motion very flattering on, umm, men of a certain age, I must try that myself 🙄Great shot though, good fun! Graham
🍎 Loving following along with you guys on your trip in New Zealand. It really is inspiring us to save up for a trip of our own there. Love the hiking. Thanks so much. - Henry
Thank you so much for your video! Encouraged me to give it a go and was rewarded with absolutely amazing views. Also the zig zag walking method was super helpful!
Thank you Janice, glad you enjoyed doing it, Roy’s Peak was a must-do for us when we visited! Nice to hear you liked our zig zag method too, we still use it now when hiking👍
Un buen recorrido donde se aprecia que estáis en buena forma física. Mereció la pena por las vistas tan maravillosas. Bellas imágenes. Un buen trabajo, Viajeros y Aventureros. Saludos

IB would have loved to have gone on this hike. He enjoys hiking but he pounds up them too quickly for me. He does it for the physical challenge, but I do it for the views and experience, so I want to take it slower and savour it. We're not compatible hikers.
We pace ourselves as much as we can when we hike! We get overtaken quite a lot on the way up especially, normally by much younger and healthy folk! But as you say, it's all about the views and enjoying the journey👍
@@scoutd197 good luck and enjoy. The lookout that everyone has their photos taken, if there is a queue, you may want to wait until you’re coming back down, it’s much quieter then👍
You went to do this walk like the Chinese in brought day light...hahahaha...this walk is not for day light. You should had been started at 4 am. A bit of a waist.
Nope, not a waste at all, we had an amazing time, would loved to have started earlier but for reasons we couldn’t! A highlight of our NZ adventures, thanks for watching.
@@unowhotravelchannel A walk is never a waist of time. What I meant by that was the fact that you have mist the sun rise , the drama in the skies , the colors of the sky which is out of this world. I was in New Zealand for a month and I mist that walk due to a knew injury doing Tongariro Alpine Crossing but next time I am in NZ I will do Roy's Peak but I will start my walk at 3;30 AM so when I am on top the sun would just rise. That is a view to watch and photograph.
Selamat sore boss,, sukses selalu buat conten nya

Well, I certainly didn't expect to see a queue at the top of the mountain!
People taking instagram pics but taking far too long, it was quite frustrating! But I had it to myself later ha ha👍
unowho travel channel if I’d have been them and spotted the queue, I’d have got a move on for them.

Good video!

Weeqat Egg Mayo and ham sandwich from what I remember too, tasty😎👍
Err I think you drove more than a few miles from home for this hike! :-)
One day Simon you will be fitter and you will be able to catch Eileen
How many turn around after the photo op spot?
Nice spot for a sarnie. breath taking is over used but definitely breath taking
lol I got an ad for tight calves :-)
I didn't want to walk the day after, as our next vlog will prove, Elaine on the other hand had more energy😂
Nice walk with views on the lake. I’m not a native speaker. Such trip on relatively easy road is called: hike, trekking or walk?
All the same really...Hiking sounds more challenging than a walk, so I'd say this mountain we did was definitely a hike! Thanks for watching👍
unowho travel channel thanks for clarification 👍
In wanaka now, hopefully I can do it in the next two days if the weather permitting. How long did it take to reach the peak? Thank you for the video!
From what we remember, it takes about 4-5 hours to get to the top, much quicker coming down. Get there early so you can find a parking space!
I've heard of that zig-zag hiking!

9:42 I remember a Casey Neistat video that looked like that!
How long did it take you to reach the top? Love the video :)
From what we remember, a good 4 to 5 hours, but it also depends on your general level of fitness too👍
@@unowhotravelchannel Of course, thanks for the reply. Climbing it in 4 weeks :)
