Thanks for taking your time to explain your thoughts on Processing vs p5. I think the current inability to export p5 sketches as scalable vector graphics is a major dealbreaker. A few rather vague attempts at making a functioning PDF export module exist, but the are either unsupported or missing too many features. For now I am sticking with Processing if I know that my sketches will be part of a professional workflow. However, once p5 catches up on this important feature, I will likely transition from Processing. Until then I will be juggling both environments.
I strongly think so, it is a foundation that depends on sponsorship and contributions from organizations and members of the public. It is a non profit organization.
I prefer p5 waaaay more, simply becauand i can easily place it in an html page.se it has MUCH MORE features, due to DOM... and I can place it inside an HTML page with great performance due to V8 jit... so awesome

createSVGCanvas() has been available since 2014? Im confused. What do you mean?
