Suggest upgrading: Since the shaft of the fan motor is long , add a second small pulley onto a second small electric motor to recharge the battery. Take a recharge circuit from a drill battery charger and wire it up to battery to you know when battery is full. Very Nice Video!

Except for developing skills or educational purposes, i don't see the point to use DC battery to move a motor which turns DIY alternator producing AC converted in DC inside the bulb. As phone, it uses DC 5 V xA as well. Nethertheless this project was probably interesting and can be the basis for huge DIY wind farm in the future 😊 Never give up !

Like is this just a show the operation as a simulation? Like maybe you decided to do this cuz it wasn't very windy? Cuz the inherent losses from the battery running that small motor, and then the friction from the belt and the torque conversion to the big motor would be massive it would be more efficient just to run the battery to an inverter and plug everything off of that.

The magnet field would need to be hundreds of times higher .But BUT if you don't have the magnets all you need do is put a 10microfard 400volt AC capacitor across the out put wires and spin at high speed. Then it will generate 200volts , The speed is important as the frequency will vary to much .So in the case of this the charger want last long because the pulse rate will kill the charger control chip ?....Remember no alloy wire and any squirrel cage motor will generate ?

But im not an excpert , just a youtuber commentor so do your own research to make sure. or you could just plug the genreator into a wall plug and get your DC out that way if you have a 14v wall plug or whatever you need for charging. Or if you dont have the exact voltage you need maybe plug the generator into a 24v wall plug then bring that down with a buck converter to charge a 12v battery.
