Last year we bought an A6 allroad (3.0tdi) at 300k miles, did a full carbon clean, put an intercooler, intake, straight pipe (no dpf on them then) and mapped it. 320bhp and ran it for 12 months with 0 problems up til 360k miles. Used it as a van stripped rear seats and used it to carry parts about (we rebuild salvage cars and sell parts). High mileage heroes are the one, it still felt like new and the new owner is happy and hasn’t had any issues either! We’ve had a few gtis and mapped one at 180k so don’t worry you won’t have any problems from that alone just obviously make sure to do more preventative maintenance and weak points on them!
@@usuallybrokencars ahh yes bit of a shame, maybe one day though as we have been thinking about starting our own channel but with a lot on our plate it’s just been put on the back burner again and again. If we do we will definitely do something though!
Liked and subbed! I have a silver 3 dr mk5 dsg running 285 bhp, my quickest so far on ps5s is 5.14 0.60. I plan to st4ip the rear seats before going ko4 in hopes to dip in the 4s! Can't wait for another mk5 gti video!
Always a worry when mapping a high mileage car as it’s been used to current power / boost for so long. Are any pipes or clips tired, if manual how’s the clutch etc 😂. Gonna enjoy this one
Ram air oversized intake 100%. Made a massive difference to mine on sound and performance. I had 3inch sports cat and 3inch all the way. Sounded beautiful
I've got an audi s4 b8 I want to get maped, a company in Kent called phantom tuning will get me up to 400bhp for £250. i think they've got a place round your way but Kents closer for me.
How much was it for the remap? And how much did your insurance go up? 7.1 down to 6.2, not bad, mines an auto A3 8P 200bhp Quattro I think it’s 0-60 is 6.5. With a remap plus intake n down pipe with sports cat I want to get it below 6 seconds
The remap cost is different per vehicle I believe, however if you call CG Motortech you'll be able to get a price easily. With it being a quattro I think it would easily get into the 5s!!
I have a Seat Altea FR, it has the GTI engine, heavier than the MK5 though. My stage 1 map from R-Tech is 254bhp and 309lbft. My best 0-60 is 5.5secs confined by dragy. See my videos on my channel, quarter mile 14secs.
Great video bro 😎 well done on the content. New sub here ❤
Thanks for the sub! Means alot 👍

@@usuallybrokencars north west mate :)
@AI-Records24 ahhh that's a shame, would have loved to have come and done a video on what you guys do! But your the other end of the country!

My old a4b7, I mapped that at 199k although I changed the turbo and clutch before as they were original. Sold it at 263k and it never missed a beat!
That's amazing mate! 👏
20% increase in power should be a decent upgrade! Good work my man!
Hope so!
The lady offering to help you at the end 🤣❤
She was very sweet

Thanks for the sub! That's awesome man! 👌 great to hear from other owners and that time is really impressive
Mines got a stage 1 map with a ramair intake and milltek catback de res exhaust. It makes 247.5BHP @5800(RPM ), Torque 283.2(lb•ft)@3300(RPM)
Ahhh very nice Andy! intake and exhaust are definitely on the cards!
the flashing orange light - oh yeah!
Yup! Some of the other runs had far more flashing lol, the best run had the least!
Looks like it shifts off the line mate! 👌🏻
It does! Was really impressed

Haha I know right! that poor DSG box aint gunna know what to do lol!
2:45 - "airing system"
Love a DSG fart 😂 great video mate
Thanks mate, yeah I never thought I'd want more farts 😜
That's a great improvement, when you think no hardware has been changed
To think all we have done is plugged in and uploaded a flash!
@@usuallybrokencars and to think it probably gained more than my beetles total bhp after spending a couple of grand on it 🤣

@lukemead5276 definitely time for an intake!
Certainly felt the difference! What’s next…? Starting to like this thing 🙌
I think it needs to make some more noise???

@@usuallybrokencars hope so, my friend has the 2017 s3, mine lags behind that by a bit. But if I can get it up to 300bhp I’ll be happy with that.

Wow that's mega mate! Nice to see something different too!
Maybe fix the oil leak before you think about remapping it????
Thanks for the heads up
