I don't understand why they had to write the fractions this way when the TI-36 uses the common and vastly superior method of writing fractions. It's honestly so hard to use this calculator in higher level math when you have to type out entire equations onto the calculator. it gets so confusing, but I have to use this one because it's not graphing, not that I ever used the graphing feature on the TI-36 anyway... I didn't even know it was a graphing calculator until my teacher told me, thank god it wasn't a test I was taking.
the TI-36 punches out the aforementioned equations like they're nothing.

it's hard to imagine why microsoft windows calculator has never in the history of windows included the fractions calculations even though it has a scientific calculator. not even part of windows 10. it's like having an incomplete calculator.
