Thanks for this test. I noticed that during the test drive sometimes the speedometer is blue sometimes is white, is it linked to the hybrid mode?
thanks :) speedometer colors are linked to drviing modes, in Sport you can see it's white & green. Check how it's changing when I press the button for driving modes (in the lower section of middle console near automatic gear selector
@@crospotter13 indeed I didn’t noticed this as well you’re right , but there is also another behavior with the speedometer. For example at the beginning you arrived inside a roundabout and the speed is written 25km/h in blue and then changing in white when you accelerate. The same when you start the engine it’s blue, then white… it seems to be linked to the electrical mode. Thanks for your feedback 🙏

I only had it for short period of time so didn't do the consumption test, I have it for full test in April will test the consumption then :)

This car has got the optional Alcantara Executive seat package that gets you these seats, electric adjustment, massage and heating for driver’s seat and heated seat for passenger too
@@crospotter13 That Alcantara + heated seat package is a £500 option here in the UK. Ouch!

Hello, it’s a 48V HYBRID, and can do around 1km on electric power
@@crospotter13 thanks for the answer, okay, but, in that km that it can do in electric mode, how fast does it go in electric mode before the petrol engine turns on?
@crospotter13 What does it mean? The engine is always active or at low speed the electric engine does the job alone?
it's a hybrid so they work together and at low speeds and manouvers car can be driven purely on electric power without the engine turned on@@alessandrocalgaro7863

Does the driver's display not show what gear the 6-speed automatic transmission is currently in? All I see in the display is a "D"... not a "D1" or a "D4".
Do the paddles on the wheel allow for manual shifting?
The paddles can be used in manual mode (M). I don't know about the display.

Suis pas sur qu'il y une si grande difference avec la clio ,la 208 roule moins longtemps en ELE d'un coup ,mais passe sans arrêt d'un mode à l'autre ,ce qui à la fin en pourcentage n'est pas tellement eloignée

Sympa cet essai ! J'attends désespérément des essais pro pour pouvoir choisir entre ce modèle et la Renault Clio E-Tech. Peux-tu m'indiquer ta conso au terme de cet essai ? Merci d'avance ! 👍
Consommation avantage clio. Design avantage 208. Moi j ai tranché. Commandé la 208 GT 136 . Hâte de l avoir 🤩😁
A vrai dire les 2 ne sont pas comparables car la Clio est une full hybride comparé à la 208 qui n'a qu'une micro-hybridation.. avantage large pour la Clio niveau consommation!
@@_Theeeo Oui, je pense aussi mais si Peugeot a bien fait son affaire, la différence n'est peut-être pas si grande donc si j'ai une préférence pour la 208 lors de l'essai, je pourrai faire des concessions. Par contre, si l'écart est trop grand > Clio.
pour ma part elle est commandée depuis fin janvier dans la même couleur
