2:46 - John vocals
This guy nails it, with his headphones on after the fact. BUT, you must remember that John, Paul, and George, produced and wrote the parts, and then SANG ALL THE PARTS LIVE WITH NO MONITORS, while playing guitars, back in the day!! And they sang it perfectly, live again and again! The Beatles. Way too much talent for just one group. Genius. Never before, and never again. Period.
Well, yeah. But why take away from this guy's achievment? It's pretty amazing how he breaks this down.
This is why I'm still obsessed with this song 55 years after I first heard it. Great breakdown of the song
Teresa67 Factoid ...GDamn right! My sentiments exactly. These cats, these four lads who came from NOWHERE...Liverpool???? They had a fire in their hearts, and an abiding love for each other to see it to its ultimate. Where we going, Johnny? “To The Toppermost of the poppermost!” And that, they did.
This is just wrong
I think this points to Paul's ability to harmonize as a huge part of the Beatle's sound.
3:48 Paul vocal
4:49 George
Your dedication to The Beatles is inspiring... Awesome.. I just need to find someone to sing Johns part and I'll be set (I have more of Paul's voice) .. Thank you so much!!!!
Somasoma I sing Lennon songs. Where are you located?
I would love to join you, but you wrote this comment four years ago
Aw, I'm always jealous of genuine tenor. ;-(
You, Sir, are brilliant. Thank you.
Actually, "She Loves You" didn't really shock the entire world in 1963. In the USA it was released and didn't fare very well. It was only after "I Want to Hold You Hand" became number one did it finally explode in that country in 1964.
Right but if you think about it everyone remembers SLY rather than IWTHYH...
It certainly shocked Britain. It became the biggest selling single of the 1960s over here. Check out the Liverpool FC fans singing it in a packed stadium. Very cool
Yes. But also the first four singles and first album made no impact in America until 1964. Capitol.was not interested in the Beatles until I Want To Hold Your Hand. So V J released the first three syngles and a variation of the Please Please Me album and Swan released She Loves You all in 1963 but none caught on until 1964. Their second album in England was With The Beatles issued on the day JFK was assassinated and a variation was released here as Meet The Beatles. Hand was issued Nov 29, 1963 and brought Beatles music to America.
THIS DUDE ! hears, understands explains & executes like no-one I've ever met. I cannot express the frustration I've suffered scraping "dumb wax" from the lazy ears of American musicians.from now on we go straight to this guy for ALL harmonies. he gets it in depth even at times I don't. Oh what wouldn't do to have this guy is my band do ORIGINALS.
Domi &rea wait. Just Americans?
that G6 in the end is so awesome !
Are George and John unison during the verses when George comes in? I can't tell
And you know you should be glad, ooh...
About " OOH" :
John always sang D, Paule - D and George - H.
These are 100%!
You sound great. This is exactly what I was looking for in regards to learning about Beatles vocal harmony.
This vocal harmony and that chord they end with in particular. Has always perplexed and amazed me. Thanks
Wow..... very impressive, amazing
Thank you so much, Galeazzo! Amazing job!
Am I right to hear George actually repeating John's part for the verse?
Yes. It’s an echo of the lead vocal
Cara que coisa mais linda essa sua vocalização de "She loves you", fiquei encantado.Meus parabéns por partilhares esse teu conhecimento sobre Beatles.Seu fan Braslileiro,Romario.
@iLoveYoutuveVideos I'll try a lesson on this.
This is the music in my idea of heaven. Maybe we'll all be with John, George, and Paul and Ringo singing Beatles tunes like this one. Great job, as usual. Bravo!
"She Loves You"
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
You think you lost your love
When I saw her yesterday
It's you she's thinking of
And she told me what to say
She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad
She said you hurt her so
She almost lost her mind
And now she says she knows
You're not the hurting kind
She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad, ooh
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
And with a love like that
You know you should be glad
You know it's up to you
I think it's only fair
Pride can hurt you too
Apologize to her
Because she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad, ooh
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Correction: “You think you’ve lost your love
WELL I saw her yesterday “
I’m so glad for talents like you and yours to do this for me, for us...Super Job. Super!
I heard that too. He sang "when" and The Beatles sang "well". He's Italian and might have thought he heard "when". B-T-W, he does a damn good job with his videos.
Great video Galeazzo, bravissimo, grazie!
Grazie :)
The thing about this song, the way the Beatles sang it, was, for me, the sheer passion/emotion they put into it. The exuberance just astounds me 50+ years later, still. The way they sing "YOU!" "She loves YOU!" I could feel the words. It might be considered a simple song over the years but there is nothing simple in how the fellas were telling their friend that "SHE LOVES YOU!". I just cannot ever get tired of it.
There's never a simple song. That's what makes the Beatles special and astonishing
BestFrends Yes, as I said it might be considered to be simple as some of their early work is when compared to their later work but as I said there is nothing simple about how they told him that SHE LOVES YOU! It was well planned and perfectly sung. Magic song.
So the last harmony is V(D) VI(E) and Paul goes up to VIII (G)?
I kept reading that it was BDE with no root
and that didn’t sound right to me.
Thank you very kind of you!
I love this video ''yeah'' ''yeah'' ''yeah'' , ''yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah''.. the beatles vocals are simply unmatchable... yeah.
great job! it is priceless for all Beatles enthusiasts. Where were you 40 years ago?
Qué bárbaro !!....las tres voces bien acopladas..cómo Beatles.... Thank's..!
Thank you so much, Galeazzo! Amazing job!
Am I right to hear George actually repeating John's part for the verse?
Yes!
Thank you very much!
WONDER IF THE BEATLES WOULD HAVE MADE AMERICAN IDOL? WHAT CRITICISM WOULD THE JUDGES HAVE HAD? GUESS WE'LL NEVER KNOW. JT FROM MEX
Good question...the early Beatles...weren't very good...George Martin said so...they'd been turned down by every recording company...he said he hired them because of their personalities...but boy did they improve
Thank you!
Nice 6th as the final chord.
@thesillyone42 When doing youtube or google search some people mistakes the ee / ea. This is there for video ranking purpose.
Galeazzo! It has been several months now and my channel has grown, tremendously!
I'm nearly 4 million views now and over 9,000 subscribers!
I was thinking about this song, 'She Loves You', because I just did a video about the record company (Decca) that turned down the Beatles, saying that guitar music is going out, early in 1962
Guitar music is still around, more than 50 years later and it seems Dick Rowe and Mike Smith were wrong.
What is going on with your band?
Are you ever going to play?
Have you done harmonizing "And I Love Her"?
@ahuhbo Thanks. Sure I am posting some check them out!
cool
very cool!!!
from Japan
I owe this tutor so much I feel, the sheer joy he has opened up for me by taking me inside the songs melodies independently is thrilling to learn and without this help I would not have known about all this hidden genius! Thankyou !!!
I'm glad someone knows what they're doing! Thank you!
This is so excellent!! - I play guitar and sing with a looper pedal and I sing my own vocal harmonies into the looper and play them while I sing the main part live. The vocal harmonies in this song had me completely baffled but thanks to you I was able to record them and it sounds perfect. Thank you ! -Will definitely donate. Best of luck !!
❤
Thnak you very musch for your will to support. :)
The wikipedia article about She Loves You quotes George Martin as recalling the final vocal chord consisting of B, D, and E. On the recording it is D, E, and G, just as it is in this tutorial.

Paul but also John for different reasons.
This song and Eleanor Rigby are my favorite songs. THANKS!!! :D By the way, I LOVE your vocal tips video. I'd love to see more someday. Best tips I've had in ages!
They began singing together when they were very young, and continued for years. They were already polished performers by the time they started recording. Hours and hours of practice. Does anyone still do that today?
Great harmonies. Great Video. Thanks for posting...
lo quiero hacer con mi compañero de banda y se los desbalancea la voz jaja
Video Explicaciones The Beatles talvez porque cantan culero
It's interesting how John and Paul begin the phrase "I saw her yester-" and then go their separate ways on "-day", i.e. Paul goes up with the melody while John goes down, to produce a harmony. Then at "She loves you yeah, yeah, yeah" John and Paul are in unison, which thins the sound a little, before enriching the harmony again, only for John, Paul and George to devastate the listener's eardrums and audio senses with the final three-part "yeah".
I was wanting to know what's that intro chord just before the verses vocally
OK, what are the proper lyrics to "She Loves You"? I hear:
"She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She'd love to, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah"
Is this correct? Official lyrics have the second line the same as the first and third lines, but I hear McCartney sing "She'd love to."
Also, when Lennon apparently sings "She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah" in the song "All You Need Is Love," is he singing "We love you" as an homage to The Rolling Stones song "We Love You" but to the tune of the song "She Loves You"? Mick Jagger is a background singer on that song.
What drew me to this video was the verse, and in particular the first few bars: "You think you've lost your love, well I saw her yesterday-ee-yay." I remember decades ago having a debate with my mother, who insisted that Paul's part was the melody, whereas I was sure that John was singing the melody and that Paul's higher part was actually the harmony. As to which part is the harmony and which part the melody, it isn't explicitly stated in this video. So, who was right - me, or my mom?
Truly excellent video (as usual), by the way. Absolutely fantastic.
Didn't check this... mmhh
Great breakdown of the harmonies! This is a song that brings back many fun memories. Thank you Galeazzo!
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah x3
You think you've lost your love
Well, I saw her yesterday
It's you she's thinkin' of
And she told me what to say
She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad
She said you hurt her so
She almost lost her mind
But now she says she knows
You're not the hurtin' kind
She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad, ooh
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
You know it's up to you
I think it's only fair
Pride can hurt you, too
Apologize to her
Because she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad, ooh
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
So George is just doubling John on the verses? Hmm. I hoped there be something that I'd missed. Mystery solved. Great work.
I love your videos. I have one question. In George's part he seems to be singing the same part as John except for the ending. I know my ear isn't that great but am I right?
Ciao Galeazzo, complimenti per il canale. Un dettaglio mi sfugge. Nel finale l'ultimo yea di George credo sia una sesta di sol, ma qualcuno lo suona l'accordo di G6 nel finale?
Thanks and glad you agreed!
@LoransClapton ok!
@jackson5thebest Yes!
It would be nice If you could record this song so people can enjoy ur voice) with great pleasure
+Matthew Corton Will do asap :)
I've been watching you for a while, you're amazing and inspiring, grüße Eddie
I find your ability to hear and dissect the individual parts incredible. From a Beatles fan listening to my sister play her Beatle's albums through the wall between our bedrooms, I genuinely appreciate someone who has the ability to hear these different parts and enunciate them for the rest of us.
This song gives me chills... :)
@JONYBOI1996 Yes Sir!
U sing amazing! Thank you for the lesson
I wonder if John got his vocals wrong in the second part of the song I wanna hold your hand at Ed Sullivan's show. I like your site too much.
I second this. "I'll Get You" seems to have an odd very low vocal harmony in places; I'd love to see this broken down. All for a B-side, yes. :)
@SenorZorrozzz Italy!
Thank you guys!
Please make "LOVE ME DO" I can't hear the vocals there. I would be very glad :)
Sure!
THANK YOU CARRY GOOD FRIEND, BUEN CANTANTE, GRACIAS...and a thousand times for your attention to my comment carefully EDGAR FROM MEXICO CITY, ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ IN GOOD TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Italy Sir!
Canti così tanto I beatles che ora dici y know senza accorgertene, come paul hahahaua
:)
Hey, love your wonderful videos
Thanks a lot
Ehi Gale!
Bravo.
You present the harmonies very well in each of your videos, they're spot on. They sound practically as good as the albums! haha
OK!
Thanks so much! You're amazing
Sure!
Mille grazie!!!! Sei veramente straordinario!
Thank you for this tutorial and the others... very good and helpful. You are an excellent musician sir.
You nailed it, man! I especially appreciated the final "Yeah" harmonies you hit so perfectly. Almost made goosebumps. You are some kind of good.
If you watch carefully, the right frame shows him shaking his head ever so slightly. But its there!
Galeatto adds a new dimension to my appreciation of the Beatles , excellent!
Hi Galeazzo, great stuff as usual, these videos are really helping a lot! Just a question - in this video first you said that the 'Ooo' falsetto after '...should be glad' belongs to Paul but then during Paul's part you say it belongs to John? I am a bit confused about it!
When George sings his part during the verse ["Well I saw her yesterday" ] is his part same as John's part? In other words, Paul sings the high part while both John and George double up on the bottom part...right?
That’s right
Thank you for all these wonderful vocal tutorials!
Meh...... This is a nice.. Don Esposito is a happy to a find a this channel.Ciao.
awesome as ever. Were you tempted to shake your head a bit on the 'oooooo's ;-)?
You must be a great vocal arranger. Where are you?
the Paul parts still sounds like john ;-)
galeazzo -- some of us here in liverpool have a wager on WHO is your favorite beatle. can you tell us then? WHO is your favorite beatle?
Well Paul i'd say but also John for different reasons :)
on johns part its you think you.ve lost your love well i saw her yesterday. but what your saying is you think you.ve lost your love when i saw her yesterday .wich is wrong
That's right. But Galeazzo is a native Italian speaker. We'll give him some slack, no?
But listen at 4:54. He gets it right with George! Oh, wellll....
