I just got a Scout fretted with Thunderblacks. At some point I want to change to Thunderbrowns. Can you recommend a string winder that will fit Kala ultralight hip shot tuners? My scout has clones, but the Dunlop bass string wonder doesn’t fit. TY. 😊
Hi! I'm sorry but I don't have a recommendation. My only string winder is a cheap plastic one designed for classical guitar. I can fit one of the "wings" of my UBass into this and it does help a little but not very much. 🙃
Hi. I love thunder browns for their sound and responsiveness, however they not lasting long. After 3 months of 20-30 minutes playing per day the G string almost cracked on several places and the D started to. How about your browns? Are the thinest still in a good shape? Thanks.
