Read about it and women are often discouraged from sharing and even the hospital does not tell you the full story because they are trying to prevent scaring women from considering not having children at all.

I prayed for Naka and Dom without ceasing. Their pregnancy was stressful for me to watch because I was so concerned about her and being a black pregnant woman. Our internet great nephew was worth the wait.

I'm sorry to hear that Naka almost died during pregnancy. For your next pregnancy, get a good doctor that can monitor you during your pregnancy and be sure to speak up if you notice something unusual or concerns. The mortality of blk women dying during pregnancy is high. We want you safe and well Naka🙏🏿❤.
Stop over aggravating, I know many black women that have had babies, family included, and they did not die, or even come close to death. Like it’s a conspiracy to kill black babies.Black women have more babies then any other race.
I embarrassed myself when I told a lady congrats because I thought she was pregnant, but she wasn't she said diabetes made her look pregnant I don't do that anymore
She had an HG pregnancy. She must have had good doctors because she managed but it can't be prevented. I had it too, I was in hospital throughout. That is the best you can do.

Metabolism and hormones is apart of it.
I don’t think that has been supported by any nutritionist etc. it’s a balance and several factors comes into play. Only her doctor and her can figure it out. Not us on the internet. It’s is in fact a combination of food and exercise, but many other things comes into play. I’m currently in one of these courses right now and have learned so much. I’m also currently postpartum, CS and all and going through a similar journey.
It's not always as simple as eat and exercise. I wish it were but no. I was thin and worked out daily before my second child. It was a very traumatic pregnancy and birth and it threw my body out of wack. I couldn't even eat while pregnant and the first 6 months postpartum. And still gained a lot of weight. It took 2 years to get the proper diagnoses and now I am finally getting back to normal. People should be kinder to women in pregnancy and postpartum. It's so weird how much pressure there is for us.
Losing weight is actually very hard but also you need to realize that she does have a newborn baby that she has to take care of 24 seven which is probably draining which probably means she doesn’t have the energy to do so all the time and her body is recovering from literally just giving birth, and she also said she literally almost died duringgiving birth takes a big toll on the body

Naka and Dom I have 3 sons the 1st and 2nd are 12 yrs apart lots of jealousy the 2nd and 3rd are 3 years apart and they are very tight with each other but now they are grown men and all get alone!!!!
I never comment. However, my now adult kids are 10 1/2 months apart. My son and daughter are super close now in their 30s. I am 11 months older than one of my brothers. I am closer to my brother where we are 3 1/2 years apart…close defined as we talk every day but I am extremely close to both of my brothers. My 2 cents, it’s the way you raise your children to love and respect each other. As a parent, I loved having my children back to back. I was already in baby mode …no sleep…the whole nine. They went to school together, experienced the tooth fairy, Santa Claus, and childhood music, cartoons, etc that bonded them that they still love and share. They love Pokémon and that purple Dinosaur, Barney. My brothers and l still love the Lost in Space, Star Trek. Do what is right for you. Wishing you the best always.
I say to you Naka & Dom whenever you’re ready to have another baby it will be your choice. But I love you all, #NakaDomGio❤

I had a c section as well in March and I've been so hard on myself to try and get my body back. Thank you for being so transparent with everything. Watching you give yourself grace reminds me that I need to do the same! Keep up the great work mama (and dad) you're amazing parents!

As a woman who has had four kids all adult grown with kids of their own now one thing I hope that you consider when thinking about having more kids spacing them really far apart, consider how old you will be when the last one is out of the house. It's nice to be young and enjoy doing things physically with your kids but it's also nice that once they are grown adult moved out of the house don't need Mom and Dad anymore that Mom and Dad is still young enough to have a life of their own. I think the two of you are amazing parents and there is no right or wrong decision I think whatever decision the two of you make will be the right decision for you. All of your subscribers can tell you what worked for them but it doesn't necessarily mean that it'll work for you that's the joy of being a parent having the right and ability to make those choices for yourselves. There is one thing for sure, choose wisely because once you're pregnant you can't change your mind.

It takes a year to fully recover from a c-section…l have had 3(1989,1991, and 1993) with GOD’s Grace & Mercy l only had mild issues….take your time….when it’s time….you’ll know.
I had a C section, it did not take me a year to recover, yes it takes longer, but not a year

Take your time Naka. I also had a hard delivery. I nearly died due to bi pulmonary embolism (DVT). I ended up having a c section. It was hard. I never thought I'd go through that again, but here I am today with two healthy happy kids, 4 years apart and best friends. My older one took on the responsible older sibling role. Just enjoy your journey ❤

I have four children ages 22,17, 15 and 4. The older ones play basketball, tag, play with toys, play dress up and are very protective of their little sister. My 22 year old daughter says her little sister is her best friend. One of her big brothers says he can’t wait until he can teach her how to ride a mini bike and he gets a kick out of trying to teach her some boxing and Muy Thai techniques. Her other brother said he’s going to teach her how to play chess. Siblings don’t need to be close in age to form a good relationship.
Y’all is such a beautiful couple. And great parent to Gio the ladies man he’s surrounded by love.
