The biggest reason that we played so poor last season is the injury of Licha. The rest of the defense could not play like Ten Hag wanted to play. So if he can be fit and we get De Ligt and Yoro then it will transform our style of play.

@@jackreacher8858 Agreed but you have to admit they scrapped through many matches; they look very ordinary against spain who could have had 4 or 5 goals; I just think SG is too cautious and with the players available other coaches could get more out of this team. But its only my opinion.
Us going for ugarte tells you all you need to know about what system we are going for, 433, ten hag tried it with casimiro at the beginning of last season but obviously we all know that didnt work, that system needs athleticism which is what ugarte brings in my opinion! I’m not sure about Yoro now. Big wage plus we’d know after this contract he’s probably gone to RM.
