That seems like a ton of content for such a short trailer
3 6v6 maps, 1 War map, 1 mode, and three modified base-game maps for the new mode (like how they did it for Vortex).
New weapons, new operators, new skins for existing operators, balance changes, new Zombies content, more prestige ranks and rewards, etc. Don't downplay how much content is in there for a free update.@@holidayonion

The new War map is a section from a DLC map in the OG MW3 called Overwatch which was a fantastic map

@@Suutari4we used to get just 4 maps with one of them being a remake in the old premium map packs. So 3 brand new maps for free each season is a decent amount of content for sure

@Suutari4 also getting Daus House and Dome which are 2 remakes but that's 6 6v6 maps in one season which is more then what we've seen in a loooong time

I’m sooo happy with the new MWIII maps. The color palettes, the map design and overall feel of them gives me nostalgia for the old games. Infinity Ward maps are so dreary and miserable feeling. So happy Sledgehammer and the other support devs have different ideas and styles.

You realize it's mostly infinity ward right? Sledgehammer is a support studio at this point. There is a reason it's all on the same app. Just putting facts out there.
I can tell you how it works. Any studio building on a previous studios version of cod eccentially is 50/50 with that sudio. Ideas come from both and since they are using IW tech it stays on the app. To minimize issues. Not saying every studio will make a MW cod but if they do IW is heavily involved. Assets, weapons map tech, code etc are shared. Just because they are all under Activision doesn't mean they aren't independent studios. Activision only gets involved on marketing, social media presence or if there are issues socially like a trailer that makes everyone mad lol
@@nicholaswilkerson501 That’s just not true at all. All of the developers share the IW Engine now so IW doesn’t need to be directly involved since everyone is familiar with the tech now. IW gets say over the story and characters since it’s the MW universe but you can’t tell me that the gameplay changes, map design and everything else doesn’t scream Sledgehammer? Modern Warfare II plays and is designed completely different to MWIII.
They're definitely hooking up Multiplayer this game
I know the ghost skin is just a variant of the nightwar skin but that probably means they are putting less resources into skins and more into gameplay which is what cod needs!
Actually it’s a variant of the snow skin that 141 wore in the campaign. It has the “X” mark and map design throughout the outfit

I wish the zombie skin was not a variant of nightwar. At least make it helmetless
So is Hordepoint an actual zombies mode, accessible through the zombies tab, or just another temporary MP gimmick mode that'll disappear. It sounds a lot like Onslaught from Cold War based off the name alone. Which would be far better for us zombies fans than what we have now.
