- The Massed Bands of HM Royal Marines perform "Gladiator" by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard during the ceremony of Beating Retreat in 2006 on Horse Guards Parade, London.
The piece was arranged by Michael Dowrick and conducted by the Principle Director of Music Royal Marines Lieutenant Colonel Chris Davis.
Special guests were the Captain General Royal Marines HRH Prince Philip, First Sea Lord Admiral Sir Jonathan Bond and Commandant General Royal Marines Major General James Dutton.
