REVII is a great #1 pick still -- just amazing. I wish he'd become PS's mascot. I gotta catch up on a lot of more recent PSVR stuff too -- behind on some super cool stuff it looks like! D:
1:14. I have a question on 'Catch & Release'.... When you guys have played it. After a few minutes.. Does it begin to lag after awhile and become jittery, stuttery and unplayable. There's no physical copy of Beat Saber. And there's no reason to discount it (from their perspective) because it's selling like crazy anyway - so why cut their profits for no reason? Luckily Beat Saber is a better deal now than it was at launch. At launch you got 15 songs. Since then the tracklist has almost doubled in size and they've also added a ton of mods, custom colors, and multiplayer support.

@@Deadmare Yeah, I wouldn't bet on any of the lesser known indie titles being ready for PSVR 2's launch. I think Sony was probably pretty selective in who they've given dev kits to (both because they likely don't have tons of them, and also they want heavy hitters for their launch). awesome list keep up the good work. but i got a question: where do you place vr minecraft like outside the list? (not asking this question in a negative or hate way!!)
Hey Bram! I'd put Minecraft VR in the Top 10 personally but these lists are a collaborative effort. We always make the lists live so make sure you tune in next time to see all the drama (there's always a ton of arguing lol) :D
Backwards compatibility (playing PSVR1 games on PSVR2) has been a big question - and from what I understand it's going to happen SOMEHOW. But HOW is the question - natural backwards compatibility with some button mapping options or will those games require a patch from the devs? My guess is the patch. That way devs can update not only the controls with analog support and adaptive triggers, but also utilize the 4k screens and haptics in the headset. We'll have to wait and see though! :D
If this wasn't a version with only 2022 games Doom VFR would be one of the best because of storyline, beasts, and just mostly fun whilst blasting creature's brain's out with 8+ different types of guns, i really think it was one of my favourites next to Iron man VR which was honestly amazing!
Had PS5 for a long time now but kept the PS4 for some games. Hope they get Rush of Blood working good on PS5 though. One of my Favorites. Would be awesome if they came out with an update for RE7 . Have RE Village but not as scary
Make sure you're there live for the next Top 25 Debate (which might be a Top 50 next time). It's always interesting to see why certain games get left off or how other games make it on! :D
That's why we make these lists live. Nothing is included without long discussions and feedback from the hundreds of people watching. AJ fought for Arashi but it wouldn't have made it on my Top 25, personally
Hello can anyone tell me, if there are any sandbox games to just chill with other people on the ps vr? I really want to just hang out and roleplay with people
All of these games are playable on PS4/PS4 Pro/PS5 with your PSVR headset. The headset doesn't have any kind of internal storage or onboard computer so you'll need to make sure your PSVR is connected to whatever console you're using :D
Yup, you just need a camera adapter (that you can get for free directly from Sony) and your PSVR1 & games will work on your PS5. There are one or two exceptions - Robinson the Journey doesn't work at all and Rush of Blood has weird issues where the game just randomly pauses.
Once you buy Hitman 3 (which is already playable with PSVR) then you can buy/import Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 into that game - making them PSVR-compatible as well
In no way I’ll ever play resident evil .. I went to a vr place and I picked the zombie game… who knew they could run and climb roofs I panicked especially cuz the vest vibrated when they attacked or bit u… ain’t no way I’ll survive the game w out a heart attack if someone is chasing me
Not gonna lie but I usually like the list y'all make but this one is pretty bad tbh. It feels inconsistent to games you praised vs games you deemed to be okay. There are also some major snubs and I'm sorry but Hitman feels way to much like a novelty and not something that I'd consider to be an overall great VR experience. I don't even think I'd put Hitman VR in my top 25 and if I did it would be like number 25 or 24. Like where's pistol whip or yupitergrad or trover saves the universe. These are games that have such unique mechanics and memorable experiences. I feel like having the majority of these games being a bunch of first person shooters makes this list flop for me.
Thanks for the honest feedback, however saying this is all FPS is pretty cray cray. There's a lot of variety in here, guessing you haven't played most of them? I mean, there's even fishing lol. I can get behind Pistol Whip, maybe Trover, love those games just think these offer more. Yupitergrad is a bit lacking on polished and in depth content don't you think? Anyways, Hitman 3 was one of my favorite experiences in VR to date, and honestly wish I had it higher on the list, so not sure I agree there. Again, appreciate the feedback always, we do try and listen to everyone :)
@@PSVRUNDERGROUND I'd say I've played like to 80 percent of the games on the list and idk some things surprised me like they really hyped wanderer being the best VR titile out there but only got #6. I love yupitergrad because it had a personality and art style that came out very well in a VR format. I think for me it's a preference thing because games that go for over realism look tend to make me not feel like I'm actually there. Hitman is alright but the controls can be funky and the resolution takes a big dive in quality which just takes me out of the whole experience so games like yupitergrad, walking dead saints and sinners, and astro world have this cartoony art style but it's that art style that makes me feel I'm in the game world itself because the environments pop up more. It's not like that with all realistic games, like blood and truth but some games who go for realism just fail in my mind.
I legit hate TWD Saints and Sinners 😄 fumbling to reload my gun after it decided it didn't want to aim properly but oh yeah I have to put my knife up first and oh I just dropped my gun in the darkness and now I'm cornered, let me just run for 5 whole seconds until I'm completely out of breath and oh-whats that? my knife just broke after using it a total of 3 times? that's fine. this is fine. 🔥🐒🔥

@@WithoutParole Great - Thank You
If this wasn't a version with only 2022 games Doom VFR would be one of the best because of storyline, beasts, and just mostly fun whilst blasting creature's brain's out with 8+ different types of guns, i really think it was one of my favourites next to Iron man VR which was honestly amazing!
Doom 3 was better imo :D
I can still play Farpoint tho. Love that game
The go-to place for all my PSVR high-quality shopping needs ;)
Good to see No Mans Sky so high on this list. Its so underated.
Luv you guys great Top 25 wrap up! Though AJ Catch and Release still sucks!!! 😇😜
Gutted ALVO didn’t make honourable mentions 🤨
Skyrim VR right now is my Jam. What i wouldnt give to have a Ghost of Tsushima VR game
I think Iron Man VR deserve a place in that list.
Zenith was a steal for just £20
Is this still accurate? Have there been any new noteworthy games released in the past 10 months?
It's been a very slow year for PSVR1 so despite a few new games trickling out, this Top 25 is still fairly accurate
Had PS5 for a long time now but kept the PS4 for some games. Hope they get Rush of Blood working good on PS5 though. One of my Favorites. Would be awesome if they came out with an update for RE7 . Have RE Village but not as scary
My real hope for RE7 (and RE8) is getting them both for PSVR2 with high res graphics and Sense controller support.
Astrobot is such an amazing game! Not my usual type of game but It’s so well put together and sooo fun.
it’s like trying to guide you’re 4yr old kid through a Mario type adventure
I’m glad that i had a opportunity to play that game
@@jefffuehr366 as a kid I would have absolutely LOVED this game!
I want a "Top Ten VR Games that aren't listed in the VR section of the Playstation Store."
any news of a vr sale on psn ?
no DooM 3 VR? Its one of the best games with aim controller support
Doom 3 was on my initial list going into the debate, but there was just too much competition. Love it though.
Great game with the aim prob best even better than fair point and I loved that
what about Eve Valkyrie?
Sadly, it became unplayable after the server shutdown in August 2022.
No battlezone? No1 with a bullet for me. More hours in that than all other PSVR games combined.
Make sure you're there live for the next Top 25 Debate (which might be a Top 50 next time). It's always interesting to see why certain games get left off or how other games make it on! :D
Dont mind me, I'm here to find awesome games for my birthday.
Really surprised to see Arashi per the review. I'm not sure if I should buy it or not
That's why we make these lists live. Nothing is included without long discussions and feedback from the hundreds of people watching. AJ fought for Arashi but it wouldn't have made it on my Top 25, personally
Everyone's Golf would be on this list if they had more courses and an online mode.
Would probably be around top 10 even
Would've thought for sure they would've made some new course DLC......such a freak'n bummer. ☹️
Hello can anyone tell me, if there are any sandbox games to just chill with other people on the ps vr? I really want to just hang out and roleplay with people
Sounds like you're looking for Rec Room. Even Zenith would be good for that, it's been a great place to hangout! :D
WOW 👑 SONY GOD FOREVER#1 ✌️ 👑
Do you need a PS5 cd to play all these or just download them on your VR headset ?
All of these games are playable on PS4/PS4 Pro/PS5 with your PSVR headset. The headset doesn't have any kind of internal storage or onboard computer so you'll need to make sure your PSVR is connected to whatever console you're using :D
Can anyone tell me if the psvr and all of it's games will work on my ps5?
Yup, you just need a camera adapter (that you can get for free directly from Sony) and your PSVR1 & games will work on your PS5. There are one or two exceptions - Robinson the Journey doesn't work at all and Rush of Blood has weird issues where the game just randomly pauses.
so you can play the entire Hitman trilogy in VR? how do I do that?
Once you buy Hitman 3 (which is already playable with PSVR) then you can buy/import Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 into that game - making them PSVR-compatible as well
@@WithoutParole awesome, will order it now! Thank you so much!
In no way I’ll ever play resident evil .. I went to a vr place and I picked the zombie game… who knew they could run and climb roofs I panicked especially cuz the vest vibrated when they attacked or bit u… ain’t no way I’ll survive the game w out a heart attack if someone is chasing me
How does this headset work? Do you put the disc's into the ps4?
Didn’t they only have 26 games?
Now I need to look up the total 🦍
Hitman 3 is easily the best game I've played on PSVR. Saints and Sinners wouldn't be in my top 10. Funny how opinions work
The fact that my Birthday is on February 4
good top!
