It was. Now its onlink loco is a Howrah WAP 7

Bit the WDP 4 has operated upto 150 between Bolpur and New Farrakka section

4) Malda Town - Barsoi - Kishanganj Section = 135 kmph
5) Kishanganj - New Jalpaiguri Section = 120 kmph (due to tracks)
