I honestly believe they are making these carts to sell. Meaning they know that the game selection HAS to deliver. They are doing a great job of choosing a quality selection of genres and games that people will want.
Great to see these being reviewed. Can’t wait to play them both. I really enjoyed Gaelco one so looking forward to it despite the not so great review but TH Strikes Back is the one I’m most excited for
Evercade has been really solid not going to lie. As stated not everyone is going to like the game selection since the publishers/developers have to give Blaze the ok when they go to them about wanting to put an Evercade cartridge with their games on it they do have to play a take what you can get approach. Hopefully more developers publishers continue to see Evercade's success and will want to get on the platform. IMO Evercade is one of the best options for Retro gaming if you want to have the physical media
I know some of these Jaleco games wound up on the Legends Gamer Pro by AtGames, if not all of them. (Possibly the Super Retro-Cade too?) I don't think the Gaelco ones did, but really, I have no appetite for C grade Italian arcade titles.
I agree bro we need to support this. I understand we can emulate 1000s of games but the nostalgia of the old days this system hits it. However, they get some maybe unreleased ttiles I've never played.
The World Rally games are great but you have to use the brake in them. But both games are lovely overhead driving games. Maniac Square is pretty fun as well for what it is.
I’ve finally taken the plunge with the Evercade VS. Seems those people are really delivering, I was proper sceptical but now…yeah they’re pulling it out the bag
The Rodland arcade is also on switch. But I prefer the Famicom and even the gameboy version. The arcade is colorful but the characters feels too big 🙄 compared to the scenery. And the arcade version also feels to slow sometimes atleast on they switch. I must get the Jaeleco anyway
I just got my Evercade Vs. this past weekend, and I love it. I saw Canadian Gamer do a video talking pure trash about the Vs saying it’s horrible and that the games are garbage. Well whatever, I used to like his stuff but he’s dead wrong on the Evercade and Evercade Vs
Dunno who that is or even care but everyone can have there opinion for sure. I like the Evercade but also recognize not every cart is going to be a hit with everyone and the console or handheld won't be appealing to everyone either... thats cool. Some of the carts for me have been great, some the selection not so great. Its just another option available to people, dont like it dont buy it right? I think one of the biggest things going forward with the Evercade will be providing a place for indie developers to have their games published, and thats kind of cool.

I admit there’s a couple of the carts I have no desire to own because I won’t ever play them, but if I see someone unlock hidden games with said carts that might persuade me into buying them if the hidden game is one I really just gotta have, but that’s a different story. I really enjoy the way you can try out some of the indie games with the online game of the month for the VS console, very cool idea. Anyway, I really enjoy all your videos, and I still break out my raspberryPi with the custom setup you hooked me up with years ago. Thank You my friend, also long live the Super Retrocade and all the craziness from a couple years ago with the group we had going. Tons of great arcade classics shared before all the drama lol but man that’s a cool little system as well.

Evercade was the thing that I was skeptical of, but over the years they have really delivered on a solid RETRO gaming platform.
Crazy what a little start up console company can accomplish in just a few short years, when they keep it simple and practical.

the nes version of astayanax is pretty fun, owned it as a kid. it's diff than the arcade version.
Ill have to try it out, this arcade one just doesnt do it for me.
