For the past three years, I've suffered from a really severe form of chronic insomnia, onset by the removal of a brain tumour. Since the surgery, I've gotten an average of about an hour and a half of sleep a night with many completely sleepless nights mixed in. Niko isn't downplaying any of the effects of prolonged exhaustion, it's hell. Wouldn't recomend

I have ADHD and get fairly normal bouts of insomnia. I've actually been up to a little over 7 days or so.
I was definitely thinking, reacting slower. Had very little focus. And would get spooked at almost anything because my reaction time was shot. Never had any sort of hallucinations though. No nosebleeds either.
I have Asperger’s syndrome and I often go 72 hours no sleep, I have been able to do this since I was a baby

I actually havent slept for 3 nights straight of not sleeping and i know how it feels to have sleep come to your throat and not being able to sleep and basically i can relate to most things he said not being able to respond and being afraid if someone calls you by your name , seeing things like ghostly things black shaped stuff time and again, and most importantly you wont be able to sleep instantly even if you try to sleep. I have actually done it 3 to 4 times not because i had some challenge or sth just because i was so much invested in this game called pubg mobile and actually ibwas having fun doing it. Now if u really want to go without sleep for 3 days, the best thing would be you take it one step at a time, that is try going without sleep for a night and see how far you can push your body and then slowly slowy you can for sure.
No just don’t do it unless it’s life or death
48hrs is easy.
But the "fun" starts between the 2nd day to 72hrs. Thats when many sideffecrs may start to occour.
But 72hrs... i have done that many times in my life.
But everyones body is different, so would never recommend doing over 1 day for a person who has no experience about his own body reactions.
When i was a teenager i often did 2 days.
When i in my 40s went keto-diet... i got so energized that i sometimes did 2-3 days without sleep. (It was not a big deal). I was not able to sleep anyway, and i was doing keto+fasting... and was fat-adapted. So my body was turbocharged... i was not able to sleep regardless of how much i wanted... bc i was focused on some tasks i wanted completed;)
Not going to recommend anything to anyone.
Just saying peoples bodies varies. And we need to listen and learn from our own body of whats sensible.
I had 0 real sideffects from 4 days awake. But when i went to sleep... then i slept deep. And slept maybe on/off a full day.
Sidenote: i would never been able to do that 4 day without keto+fasting+my body being fatadapted.
