There was a factory on the road to Decaturville. It was past the little hospital. My Aunt Stella was a Supervisor there a out that time. I lived there with her for a year as a child. I loved it so much. I loved the town and all the people. I didn't want to go back home up North and live with my mother. The people there were all so kind.

My granny worked at a factory in decaturville in the late 1950s/ 1960s. Can anyone tell me, what the name of the factory was?Where did the company go? Did it close or move to another location? It had to be hard on community. I am sure a lot of people were out of work. I am interested in that history, that era of Decaturville history.
