- We needed more lumber to continue building our Off Grid Post and Beam Building. This is how we supply enough lumber to keep going.
I'm sorry about the audio...our microphone batteries died making this video.
I don't know if they're deer flies or horse flies around my farm down here in Newmarket, but they don't really bite, they just buzz you, and bounce of your face, ears and under your hat, SO ANNOYING. cheers guys
I am so impressed by Heathers filming. She always seems to capture the a🎉ction getting the shot and available lighting so well. I was particulary impressed when you were working on the roofing timbers. How she got those shots........When is your bug season in you part of the world? By mid June I would have the worst would have been over? Good to see you in the wild woods again. Mike
I can see why you like harvesting your wood in the winter. The flies and overgrowth make it difficult.
Hi Cecil and Heather!!😀😀
Looks like the deer flys are getting quite bad. I always hated cutting in the summer during deer fly season. Bites from them take over a month to heal on me.
Take care my friends!!😀💚
I have to do this with the logging trailer I made(copied yours). I have a few thousand maples and cedar. The cedar hauls perfect, the maple is way too heavy to haul more than one or 2. So I drag those with my 1954 case310 😊
You folks have another blessed week! ❤
Love and enjoy watching your videos. May the lord bless and protect you and Heather and working on the homestead and milling wood
Nice to see the woods again , but I couldn't cope with those massive bugs .
Hi C&H.......Looks like a great day for logging......Hope you have a Great Day...
Don't know how you stand the deer flies. Great show
I don't know if those flies bother you but they sure bothered me while I was watching. Go9d to see some logging again. Cheers
Wow when I get bit by mosquito I swell up like a balloon I hope you guys ain't got that problem awesome video thank you
Glad to see you actually use a polluting gas chainsaw.. lol.. and get some work done rather then some other off gridders who fake it with using a hand saw or electric.. Not a lot of places to recharge north of the 53rd..
Pretty good job video Heather. Nothing went wrong. Thats a good day! ❤❤
I think that level of biting flys would have me in the run. Bless you both for working through it.
👍👍🇩🇰🇩🇰☕️☕️😁👏
👍👍👍
good video and job you were both getting eaten alive. take care, be safe and well.
Got to love the short trip to the lumber supply store and the price is right. Deer flies are bad in northern ny too
NICE LOGGING RIG!
What a great day in the bush. Reminds me of hauling salt blocks into the riverside lease. Praying.for no flats way back in there. Your machines are beasts! 🎉🎉🎉
Looking good Cecil great to see the building coming together.
Thank you for another Great video. Cheers
Great video guys. Gotta love those deer flies. Cecil, I think your gimbal head needs a little oil... I think 🤔
Hello my friend. Thank you. Yeah those Deer flies can be a pain in the a$$ at times. Lol..yeah I didn't realize it until I went to edit this video I realized that the mic cord was bouncing off the go pro mic :-( Thanks again. You have a great day. Cheers!

Hello Josef. Thank you very much. Cheers!
Good video while I was cooking breakfast. Excellent!
Did you get these logs for free or did you have to buy a Timber Sale from the USDA Forest Service?
Hello, we live in Ontario Canada..so no payment to USDA Forest Service. Cheers!

Nothing wrong with the audio..
The sound is really good today

How many days without showers do you have to go before the flys leave you alone?
