I know these videos especially are probably not the ideal showcase for the deck, for various reasons outside the player’s control, but I do on occasion appreciate having vids like this that are more like balance and game design discussions than they are gameplay discussions.
TBH I think uncut videos like this are some of the best honest representations of decks you'll find on youtube. Seeing losses in with wins shows you the range better. Edited stuff can make even the worst decks look good with cherry picking.
Arishem in general is the worst. I nearly quit the week they added him into the game. I think I dropped to under .500 for the first time ever. Getting Alioth'd twice in a match was legitimately insane.
I agree with you about balance passes. I'm certain 'the discourse' about them is 💯 players diving to lowest common denominator groupthink, and saying is bad. If SD ran opinion polls on every change and only did what players wanted, they'd still be wrong because what players really want, is something to complain about.
Hey jeff, i don't have Namora or Misery (about 5 keys left), do you think its worth using the keys to get those 2? Im skipping the scorn week and going to use tokens for Toxin
One thing I really hated about hela is whenever I played Hela I would never get the perfect lines or top deck hela on 6 but for some reason whenever I played the opponent they seemed to always have what they wanted 😅could just be a me thing tho
Won't get over the fact that arishem has no effect surrounding the eternals. Would of been cool to see "Shuffle the eternals into your deck" Instead of just 15 random cards. I do like using arishem (I know, I'm totally the worst) but his design is flawed

7:15 Tons of sand castles kicking, you also have Heimdall to kick your own!
Watching Jeff's slow descent into madness. I feel ya 😮
That Arishem game was very tilting, this man really wasted 20 mins just to lose in a Silver match

Bingo
Given that Arishem players enjoy the random crap shoot gameplay, they should make Arishem play your cards on odd turns.
good stuff as always

Will you like Namora or Misery decks?
Yeah really comes down to if you want to play the cards. I think any week you are missing two cards is a fine time to pull in general.
Any good substitute for Arana in this deck?
Man I could not get this big version of mover to work for me. Probably just a me thing. I really enjoy bounce/move though.
Move requires a bit of practice. Plus there's a lot of scream going around. So that may also give you a hard time.

And I know arishem is an annoying card because of loki on 1 and alioth but I really do have fun playing all the randomness and the extra energy.
