The live concerts are stunning, unreal, magical, just the best. Eivor has an amazing and enchanting voice and when you close your eyes is even more magical, without leaving her great team aside, the guys are also amazing and they give it all in a concert. I had the pleasure to be at her concert in Glasgow very close to her and I just couldn't believe how magical and touching that was until the concert was finished and I wanted to hear more.

lister eivør... that song we talked about... I know it's yours but it isn't just a song it's like one of those songs that just define life I think if you really want to be truthfully honest about your career you need to realize that that song is almost everything.

I always ask myself what type of Gibson are you playing... It´s a Les Paul - yes - but which one? Can you tell me?
Love your live recordings. I just have one question: why is the title in another language?! Now I have to sleep on this but what a way to go.....
because the original album is in Faroese, this title SLØR cover spot versions and Eivor felt the translation wouldn't give the right full emotion. Slør, roughly translated is 'veils' Both versions are beautiful ;) Trøllabundin title o the album is also only in Faroese.

Don't get me wrong, I love Eivør's music, but I just feel like english betrays the passion, emotions and intentions of the original release. Just my opinion, please, don't set me on fire ! Please come to France soon, I want to hear you sing in faroese live so bad ... Love
it's strange that I feel the same for these songs of the Slor album.. But when I first listened to her, the songs were in english, from the Room album... the songs of Slor sounded (still sounds, in fact) a little strange to me when I listen to them...
I prefer the Faroese versions also however I do appreciate that she records English versions which I listen to interchangeably. It is nice to hear the meaning as I don't speak Faroese.
And it's true. I think it is because those songs were written to be sung in Faroese. Then, 2 years later, she decided to adapt them into English, which betrays the feelings conveyed. It wasn't a problem for her previous albums for the songs were to be sung in English in the first place.
