And thats with all sorts of QBs, not just Mahommes. Bellicheater might have a lot of superbowls with Brady but without Brady, hes not even .500. I'd vote Reid as the GOAT, easily.

Where the Steelers are as a franchise: an untalented roster that is insanely elevated by coaching. Like, seriously, the roster is in the Jets-Panthers-Browns-Pats area and they get dragged to the playoffs by him.
Ok first, that is greatly underselling the talent that Pittsburgh has and has gotten recently. Second, if you do feel that way about the players, do you know who is the top person in charge of player evaluation. Mike Tomlin. Yes Ohmar Kahn finalizes the deals but mike Tomlin is the initiator. Also, his hiring of Offensive Coordinators has been mixed in the past 10 years. Pittsburgh has better players then anyone thinks. O-line is young and has promise, Freiermuth, Warren, Pickens(who usually is good on the field but want him traded away as soon as possible). missing the QB of the Future which if Tomlin had that I don't think there would be any of this talk about wanting to get rid of him. then on the defense of course you got Cam, TJ, Minka, Highsmith, Queen are studs but there's young promise on that side of the ball as well with Porter Jr., Benton, Herbig, Peyton Wilson, Bishop, Trice. What is really missing the QB of the Future which if Tomlin had that guy I don't think there would be any of this talk about wanting to get rid of him. The QB sometimes makes the coach go to the next another level. Some recent examples are Bill Belichick without Brady, Sean payton without Brees, Andy Ried with out McNabb or Mahomes, and now Mike Tomlin without Rolthlesburger.
@Justin_Watson23 best qb the Steelers have had in half a decade? Mason Rudolph. Oline? Bottom ten in the league for at least three seasons. Running backs? A plodding player who runs like he's a scat-back and had no physicality or an RB who is loved by fantasy football players but can string together two good runs in a row? Wide Recievers? A bunch of players who are at least one level above where they should be. Pickens is a WR2, Austin is a WR3 at best, etc. Friarmuth? A completely replaceable player who could be swapped out for any of the middle 15 tight ends without anyone noticing. Defense? Corners? Decent guys who can handle good.players but get roasted by better ones. Safeties? Hey, Minkah one of the truly stand out players on the roster. Front 7? TJ and Hayward, the other good players. So, of a starting 22, 3 players who are great, 19 who are somewhere between average and bad.
TJ saying Steelers fans don’t appreciate winning and think they should win every Super Bowl explains exactly why he’s a fan of the teams with expectations that don’t ever win anything
The mythology surrounding Mike Tomlin is nuts. People here think he's a ceiling elevator rather than a floor raiser. People saying he'd help develop Caleb Williams. That he'd have bad defenses playing well. lmao. He currently has the most expensive defense in the NFL & they're between 7th-11th in every major defensive stat but takeaways. I really underestimated how dumb NFL fans are compared to Steelers fans. They need more credit actually & I felt the opposite before reading these comments.
this was one of brockman’s worst tuesdays. either very vague but level headed takes, or the wildest overreactions ever. and he is delusional about the lions
After this 4 game losing streak, i was really thinking maybe it's time for the Steelers to find an offensive coach. Winning consistently is great but i would like to go to the championship once in a while
For the life of me, I don't understand the Tomlin hate. He might be the best coach in the NFL right now. Certainly top 3. If the Steelers fired him, he'd be unemployed for about 10 minutes.
You heard it here first. The chargers will channel the 2010 jets and shock their perennial champ division rival to make the conference championship game.
9:31 the Bengals can and will waste the good years of Burrow and Chase. Mike Brown is the cheapest owner in the NFL, he probably charges Zac Taylor for laptop. If hes paying you Mike Brown will never get rid of you.
"They don't appreciate that they got a great leader." Look, Steelers are not the Jets or the Bears. We have expectations. And Tomlin isn't good enough.
I mean, shout out to the #1 Lions, but I agree with Chris’ overreaction. That Viks game was a statistical anomaly, and could have very easily been the opposite story if the lions didnt go 4-4 on 4th down on every td drive, and the viks only got 6 pts out of 6 redzone/fringezone drives… statistically, play the game the same way and lions lose. But.. games arent played on a stat sheet.
I don’t agree with Brockman all the time, but I don’t think he’s biased or hates a team. And, I think it’s fair to say Lions didn’t do so well until the 4th quarter.
Well the Vikes D aint no joke, it was a grind. It wasvery very impressive actually what the Lions did. How many downs insde the 10 did the Vikes have wo scoring? I lost count.
Tomlin isn’t a coach man. His title is head coach but what he does in is rely on talent instead of an actual game plan vs a specific opponent. It’s wash rinse repeat. Until he actually makes some game plan changes he’ll never win another meaningful football game.
oh cmon. He won a superbowl with a good, but not elite qb and keeps that team in contention constantly. Give him to the Bears and he will get Caleb to an nfc championship game in three years.
@@rexfordmorgan7552 LMAO you mean a first ballot HOF QB? He had stacked teams for a decade plus and won one super bowl. He's had elite defenses almost every season. Not winning a playoff game since 2016 is an embarrassment.

The situation in Pittsburgh in not sustainable. .500 record and no playoff wins is nothing to brag about. Just having a good man as your coach isn't good enough. Andy Reid was done in Philly. That couldn't continue. Even though everyone knew that Reid would win someplace else.
Do you think Tomlin could win with a top 15 QB. Which he hasn’t had in almost 2 decades. Inspite of all that he keeps bringing; through great coaching defense and dumb luck teams to the playoffs. While the Bengals with Joe Burrow watch from Cancun this year. So many teams would kill to have this impressive yet mediocre performance every year.

Some recent examples are Bill Belichick without Brady, Sean payton without Brees, Andy Ried with out McNabb or Mahomes, and now Mike Tomlin without Rolthlesburger.
this is one of the dumbest comments I've ever seen.
Rich Eisen looking like he wanted to jump off a cliff after the Rex Ryan talk lol 😅
As a Steelers fan I think change of scenery for both parties are great
Look at Andy Reid in Philly
The mythology surrounding Mike Tomlin is nuts. People here think he's a ceiling elevator rather than a floor raiser. People saying he'd help develop Caleb Williams. That he'd have bad defenses playing well. lmao. He currently has the most expensive defense in the NFL & they're between 7th-11th in every major defensive stat but takeaways. I really underestimated how dumb NFL fans are compared to Steelers fans. They need more credit actually & I felt the opposite before reading these comments.
here we go!
5:30 the Ravens are the team everyone is talking about Rich come on
this was one of brockman’s worst tuesdays. either very vague but level headed takes, or the wildest overreactions ever. and he is delusional about the lions
Like the nation of domination shirt tj is wearing
Of course it's loud in Pittsburgh media; Mark Madden is in the vicinity.
You heard it here first. The chargers will channel the 2010 jets and shock their perennial champ division rival to make the conference championship game.
Harbowl?!
Is this an over reaction Washington vs Chargers in New Orleans
No chance in hell.
did they forget to pay the lighting bill?
9:31 the Bengals can and will waste the good years of Burrow and Chase. Mike Brown is the cheapest owner in the NFL, he probably charges Zac Taylor for laptop. If hes paying you Mike Brown will never get rid of you.
Love it
Aaron Rodgers season this year was the 3rd best by a Jets QB of all time. in case people needed to know the scale of the jets misery
I was waiting for the Toilets drop after Chris' last overreaction about the jets and Aaron Rodgers.
"They don't appreciate that they got a great leader."
Look, Steelers are not the Jets or the Bears. We have expectations. And Tomlin isn't good enough.
Chris Brockman should do a cartoon show talking about things he doesnt like cause he dont like 💩 lmao
You said "magnaminity" but it's "magnanimity"
Rich was spicy today. I like spicy Rich.

Josh Allen has entered the chat 💬
I don’t agree with Brockman all the time, but I don’t think he’s biased or hates a team. And, I think it’s fair to say Lions didn’t do so well until the 4th quarter.
SKOL
Well the Vikes D aint no joke, it was a grind. It wasvery very impressive actually what the Lions did. How many downs insde the 10 did the Vikes have wo scoring? I lost count.
@ I’m not downplaying the win. I’m just saying Brockman’s critique of Detroit has some foundation and is valid.
Tomlin isn’t a coach man. His title is head coach but what he does in is rely on talent instead of an actual game plan vs a specific opponent. It’s wash rinse repeat. Until he actually makes some game plan changes he’ll never win another meaningful football game.
2:29 Rich, the term is 4 dimensional chess. Everyone is already playing 3D chess....
Tomlin is like Marty Schottenheimer. Great, consistent regular season coach. Rarely kicks it into the next gear for the playoffs.
Tomlin hasn't had a top QB since Ben got washed. It's great coaching he's even making the playoffs. The AFC playoffs have been dominated for 10+ years by the likes of Brady, Manning, Mahomes, etc.
@@michaels7159 my dad is a Steelers fan with this exact same take, but as a broncos fan and someone who has seen mediocre coaching since sb 50 I can tell you, you will miss tomlin when he is out the door and you win 3 games.
@@rexfordmorgan7552 I'm not a Steelers fan, but what are you talking about?? Big Ben is a 1 ballot HOF QB
The team that should trade for Mike Tomlin is the last team to trade for a head coach... The Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cheer up, Chris, I don't think you hate my team.
I KNOW you do ;)
I find it funny that the only other team the Vikings lost to was the Rams and it was after the Lions game. Now look at who they have played before. 🤣
Tomlin has 2 rings (Pitt and asst DB coach @ Tampa) and 18 years of winning seasons. Any other coach does what Tomlin has done and we’re not having this conversation. It’s not that Tomlin isn’t good enough for Pittsburgh. Maybe Pittsburgh isn’t good enough for Tomlin.
seriously? 0-5 & -58 in his last 5 playoff games. If it was your favorite team, you'd feel different.
He's an overrated coach. Bad clock management and wimpy on 4th down.
If you get rid of Tomlin (who's never had a losing season) who do you replace him with that's proven to be better??
I can't stand the Steelers but he's an overrated coach.
I would say that y’all are talking to much about the Ravens and not enough about the back 2 back champions who claimed the number one seed in week 15 and beat 3 playoff teams in a 10 day span.
When was the last time the Steelers were "real" prospect for Super Bowl, hence, Steelers owners not interested in getting another one this decade.;)
Real talk though, Joe Buck does hate the Dodgers. So glad he doesn't do baseball anymore.
Talk about Penix!!!! The falcons failing made it so nobody is talking about how insane he looks
since the NFL started with 7 seeds they are 3-5 ATS losing by 12 pts , only winning 1-7 Strait up
Blake Corum fractured his forearm against the Seahawks. Can you imagine how boned the Rams would be if that was Kyren Williams? No, resting the starters was the only move. Only cowards duck smoke anyway.
Steelers can only replace Tomlin with Vrabel...
Jerry Jones should go after Tomlin.
