      I think people are over-estimating how good it would be with the Bears. They fire coaches all the time and generally lose even more games than the Cowboys. I don't know why Mangini keeps talking about job security and how McCarthy is always on the hot seat. He's more tenured than any of Chicago's last five head coaches. And before McCarthy, Jason Garrett lasted nine years despite the fact everyone in the media each year saying he's about to be fired. That hot seat doesn't seem to be very warm.

He played so well, his owner who was looking for every excuse to bench him, was unable to do so. Instead of the owner's preferred QB being on the field, Dak forced that QB to retire. Let's remember that he did that when Dallas was a perennial 8-8 team. What has Caleb done in his first year playing? It used to be seen as a negative to have tons of physical gifts without the production to match. Then used to be weary of guys that were athletic phenoms but weren't difference makers in college. Caleb also had the most turmoil on his team than any rookie QB maybe...ever! Let me see...3 different offensive coordinators, 2 different head coaches, one of the worse Olines in football...ALL IN HIS ROOKIE YEAR!!! You put Jaden Daniels or any other rookie, they won't be as successful either! Despite all that Caleb is the FIRST QB ever to have at least 20 TDS and less than 10 interceptions with a minimum of 500 pass attempts in a year. First QB ever! He played decent despite all the turmoil!

    Saying the coaching job in Chicago is stable is a wild take by coach. How many have they had in the past ten years? If kaleb wins 5 games again next year with McCarthy he’ll be right on the chopping block but this time it’ll all be on him instead of having Jerry as a scapegoat

  • @zaboe911
    @zaboe911 15 днів тому

    Wildes is right, a "ceiling" must be at least somewhat based in reality, because otherwise we get into conversations like "well Dak may have a higher ceiling because his intangibles bring out better performance from his team and would have more success overall blah blah blah". Caleb is just too theoretical to act like he has some unbelievable ceiling at this point.

    The Dak vs. Caleb segment, I wish Wyldes would have posed his stance like this:

  • @abdullahhusain9336
    @abdullahhusain9336 14 днів тому

    I'm surprised nobody brought up Dak's contract. Imo that contract is what kills the cowboys chances of winning a Superbowl anytime soon. At least with Caleb, his production doesn't necessarily need to reach Dak's peak since the Bears have more money to strengthen the cast around Caleb
