There's a lot of complaints and a lot of Love for this episode. after seeing it a 2nd time both sides are valid.

I dunno if you noticed but Jiren's smile at the end and how he called Toppo pathetic was perfectly reasonable. Put yourself in his shoes, he's been putting up with this Pride Trooper Justice bullshit for years with a fat bipolar Dr. Eggman who isn't even close to his power despite being a GoD ordering him around. Seeing him lose everything that he himself stood for, for power that wasn't even able to knock a SINGLE FUCKING OPPONENT OUT. He deserved being trash-talked by Jiren. If anything if Jiren does fuck everyone up he'd smack the shit outta Toppo next.

simple, Instead of it being four Universe 7 warriors versus Jiren the lone Pride Trooper, I would have kept the entire Pride Trooper Faction intact. I would have had been 8 versus 4. I would have made what the Supreme Kai of U11 said in the Supreme Kai meeting be impactful and mean something when he stated the others will regret turning down his offer to unite and join forces and speak to Zeno and The Grand Priest about not holding the tournament. I would have made U11 beastly in this tournament, not simply by giving them cool looking moves and power up but by making them productive. U6, U4, U9, U2, U3, U10 all should have been eliminated and tossed out at U11's hands. Jiren, Toppo, Dyspo should have the most eliminations not Goku and Co. The Pride Troopers should be with the numbers advantage going into the final minutes of the tournament. Not Goku and Co. Goku and Co should have their backs against the wall, not Jiren. With two eliminations Jiren hardly looks menacing up against Vegeta's fourteen. And one of Jiren's eliminations you have to put an * beside because the guy ran off the stage himself. Again don't get me wrong I've enjoyed moments of the tournament, and I've enjoyed the cool moments Roshi, Vegeta and 17 have had. But the execution has been poor. We as the audience cannot even pretend Goku and Co are or ever were the underdogs. They've dominated and overpowered the entire field of competition. At this point the only thing that will make this Arc be worthwhile is if the writers pull curveball and actually Make Jiren the hero, that he comes back against all the odds and defeats U7 the team that has caused all the other Universes to be erased and who collectively and individually have the most eliminations

Even when the episodes are asspulls (like this one, these writers are defo smoking crack), we still can always count on your reactions being hilarious. Vegeta's memories was one of the part of the series.It was a power up not only by rage and pride but for the people he must protect and his promise. I am really hyped for the upcoming 4 episodes, and i kind of sad that it's coming to an end.

What makes this episode even more dope was that Vegeta refused to throw away who he was this time, defeated Toppo with his new power and the same technique he failed to pull off and died to. Did anyone notice how jiren just broke character( that's saying a lot concidering he has none. That is his character). I mean jiren not only made an insult, he threw shade. WTF.
Im not gonna lie thats one of the things that threw me off and that I disliked. IT feels like Toppo and Jiren have diferent writers week to week.
I'm sure jiren said he's pathetic because he threw away his pride as a pride trooper to become a G.O.D and still not accomplish a single thing(taking out any of U7) and gets ringed out.
If you think about it that way it makes sense for him to say since jiren would never let go his pride as a trooper.
EyeLeSs TigER really though, based on what we seen so far jiren was thought to be respectful and honorable (I might be pushing it a little with theses traits). Think about what we know about him, he allowed goku to charge up and throw a spirit bomb at him and if your a manga reader we got the tiniest of back stories about why at first he didn't want to enter the tournament. And he's a pride trooper, mock them all you want they still are a justice enforcing group.

I feel like a great ending for Super wold be Vegeta taking over as God of Destruction for Beerus and Whis deciding to try something different from what the Grand priest typically allows (although Zeno will allow it) by retiring with Beerus instead of being the angel and deciding to let Goku fill the Angel role alongside Vegeta. They can finally work together like they are in the tournament. And they could make Universe 7 a better place by destroying only necessary threats and evil. Plus after mastering Ultra Instinct, Goku will have power similar to or on par with the angels and Vegeta clearly has power on par with God of Destruction and a more destructive personality already. Imagine seeing his final form with the purple hakai energy while goku has his Mastered Ultra Instinct. like just ending it on a side by side of that would be amazing to me. Unfortunately I'll bet they do some dumb humble shit like Vegeta spends time with his family and Goku goes to train Uub finally like Z. Who gives a fuck about Uub honestly.
