Great taste of what happens twice a year when us petrol heads meet on the beach! Really cool video, and some great Drone piloting, or whatever they call it😉

Looks like a great place for a show, and I like the parking lot gravel. Much better than the soft sand we have here at the beach.

Yes very good place for a show, there are a couple of big shows like this one here a year so will be doing some more videos from here next year.

Hey Max, which drone do you use? I have been thinking of getting one. Are you nervous about getting it too close to the cars?

This was filmed using a DJI Mini 2. If you were looking at buying a drone I would recommend going for a newer model than this but it would depend on your budget.
The Mini 2 is a great drone that is Sub 250g meaning it can get around a lot of the flight restrictions. I know the restrictions and stuff are different in the states to the uk so would recommend having a look at a couple of UA-cam videos talking about the specific ones for your area. The UK drone regulations come under the CAA but in American it is governed by the FAA.
I've just had a quick look online and found a website that looks to have some good information about the USA FAA drone rules
      www.droneblog.com/can-i-fly-a-drone-under-250g-anywhere-i-want/
If your on a low budget then something like the Mini 2 would be great.
If you don't mind spending a little bit more then I'd suggest going for one of the newer models such as the mini 3 or 4. These newer models have sensors on them for obstacle avoidance. This will basically prevent them from flying into something ( watch some UA-cam vids on how this works, it's not perfect but much better than the Mini 2 that has no obstacle avoidance.)
For flying close to the cars I am always nervous, I fully believe in the drones ability however. It should never fall out of the sky unless I crash it into something. I have flown the drone 100s of times and it's never played about or done anything unpredicted. DJI have built themselves on a reputation of drones staying in the sky and being reliable.
If you've got any more questions about it feel free to ask 🙂

Wow, thank you for the very detailed reply. Collision avoidance is something I would definitely want even if just to keep it out of trees. I saw a video where a gentleman rode his motorcycle and the drone followed and filmed him. How is that possible?@@MaxWolfMedia

      You're welcome.
I'm not certain which drone they used but I know that the DJI Mini 3 & 4 both have a feature called "Active Track". Active track basically does what it says on the tin. You select the subject and then the drone will follow it. I'm not sure what the top speed it can travel at while tracking but a very powerful feature none the less.
Found this video online talking about the tracking on the Mini 3 Pro
      ua-cam.com/video/HCiF-Rga4Ho/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Here is what I would personally go for if I was to buy a new drone or upgrade from what I already have.
The DJI Mini 4 Pro has omnidirectional sensors (so theoretically better obstacle avoidance).
Video I found showing off the Mini 4 Pro
      ua-cam.com/video/5AIXzjw4uRY/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Also a link to the official DJI website (Mini 4 Pro page)

One last thing that I've noticed on the website. There are 3 options you can choose from. Personally I would strongly suggest getting the version that comes with the RC 2 controller, or even better the Fly More combo if it is within your budget. The controller that comes with the screen built in is so much better than the standard one that needs a smartphone to be connected to it each time you want to use it.
      Hope this helps 🙂
