The link doesn't work anymore. And I don't seem to be able to find a default.xbe that can replace the original without it giving me a Fatal Error and something about failing to open file guisettings.xml
AS I understand it, it has one game complete, and you have to download and get all info for other games complete .... you have 199 games on it.. that would take ages... And I have the complete 2tb version in my xbox with 780+ games... that will be a hell of a job.. Or is there a way to get it all sorted for all games ever introduced? would love to see a link of that, or a way to get a faster way to get my games sorted like this is. cheers Olaf
how did you disable the folder loading times for the xbox game folder? it's good to know for an already set up xbox, saves time. will it not load also after a reboot?
+dagforlive05 I modified the source code and recompiled a new default.xbe. It functions exactly the same as the default XBMC only now it doesn't do the check to see if all the folders has a default.xbe inside them, it just assumes they do and well they would since it's the programs menu. The source files I edited can be found on my GitHub
Is there any trick to show proper coverart thumbnails in xbmc ? Im using confluence lite and the thumbnail coverart is always displayed blurry and low res. The second question is how to get the fullsize logo splash. Any help for that?
You mean the one that comes with your xbmc4gamers project ? Can i just take your file for using with my standard confluece lite skin or do i have to modify the file for proper working? I just want to have game thumbnails in higher resolution.
+suberior no you can use it with any skin, it goes inside the Q:\USERDATA folder. You will need to clean the thumbnails first before it will recache them. ( remove the following folder, Q:\USERDATA\thumbnails\programs and restart XBMC )

I done one but my server kept resetting the connection after a few hundred games were parsed, or the Xbox done it? haven’t a clue. So I just make an installer that you download via the downloader that will do it all host side.
@@JCRocky5 I've read you can run into some issues if you have so many game saves on the hard drive with the Xbox, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was something similar to that with the parsing of cover-art. For now I'm using XBMC as my dash and I'm replacing the icons to wide ones, it's simple but still a pain to do one by one. I'm thinking about checking out Emustation, its always nice to see new stuff for the Xbox.
That’s not the issue, the issue was my server resetting the connection, probably some protection or crap. You can use the Xbox Artwork Installer that fully automated, just requires 500MB or free space. That can be downloaded from the downloader in XBMC-Emustation/4Gamers

+grandyzer you will need to extract the textures.xpr with XPREpress. It can be found on my XBMC-Emustation repo. In the other folder.
