We are Motörhead. We play Rock n Roll. ♠️ 🤘🏻
RIP Lemmy. Legend.
He was THE MAN!
And we play it loud
🤟🇧🇷🤟
🤘
Just reading that brought me back... God damn man, good times. No need for RIP, Gods don't die, they just ascend.
Motörhead, the greatest of all time in their realm. R.I.P. Lemmy, Fast Eddie und Philthy Animal Taylor you may rock together in heaven...or hell 🙂
Why was he called philthy animal ?
I absolutely LOVE Philthy's drumming style!
@@Nichwar19 His first name was Phil and he was a ferocious animal on the drums.
@@stevedahlberg8680 im glad he wasnt really philthy 🤣
@@Nichwar19 Hehe ...
"But that's the way I like it baby, I don't wanna live forever" - One of the most Rock n Roll lyrics ever written!! Love Motorhead!!
But don't forget the JOKER .
That's my girls motto!
Arguably the biggest and most respected rock star we've ever had. He was the epitome of oldschool rock music! Plus he had a great personality and was 100% his own! R.I.P. Lemmy!
No better example of what Rock 'n' Roll really should be.
Like opening your front door and seeing a fucking tornado coming at you
100%
Motörhead is the only band punk rockers could get away with listening to in the old days because they were so fast and authentic. Check out their song Overkill next.
The live one is the best on UA-cam.
Very true I listened to them a lot during my punk phase many moons ago
Lemmy is, simply, the man. He's got one of the most distinctive bass tones out there, and it's deployed to devastating effect on Ace of Spades. Grinding, distorted, and utterly thrilling 🤩
Motorhead played Rock 'n' Roll, that could be loud, heavy, fast, and anyone who enjoys rock and metal should appreciate their role in the history of such. RIP.
Cant wait to discover more from them ❤️
"2 mins and 50 secs of pure madness." You catch on very quickly Biss. 🤘🏻
This was always the ultimate tune to blast out while driving.
Well... this and Deep Purple's Highway Star!
RIP Philthy Animal, Fast Eddie and Lemmy, this line up only lasted for a few years but to me they are the classic Motörhead trio. They are called a metal band, but Lemmy himself said they played rock and roll (probably with the amps turned up to 11) 😄🤘
Well he said everytime they play rock n roll but with 120 mph
A lot of what they did was incorporated into what we call metal today
Yeah, Lemmy couldn't stand bullshit. I think he also didn't like the way people tried to pigeonhole all the different styles of rock.
About halfway through his set at a concert, he'd ask "Is it loud enough?" And whatever response he got, he'd get his sound guy to turn it up. And again another couple of times before the end.
I was fortunate enough to travel to Brussels to see them play, supported by girlschool. Brilliant weekend away.✌️
"I dont wanna live forever" He almost did and for fans he definitely did
Motorhead were the embodiment of pure Rock 'N' Roll! The greatest rock band that ever was, or, ever will be.
A good song to listen to nect would be "Overkill".
the best combination of punk and metal ever ! !
I think too
Its a punk rock metal...
The song overkill will make your jaw fall down!
I freaking LOVE Philthy Animal's drumming style. He played with such ferocity and had crazy endurance. And from what I can tell, he seemed to live his life the same way, at least at that time.
I loved his hairdo and moustache almost the same. Always tried to achieve this ultracool look, but my own hair said "No chance, bro!"
They are a huge influence on Thrash Metal, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Pantera, where all heavily influenced by Motorhead's combination of the Speed of Punk Rock with the Lyrics and Power of Metal
1 song in one word "Overkill"
Their cover of Heroes by David Bowie is absolutely amazing.
it really is a great cover...
"2 minutes and 50 seconds of PURE MADNESS ". ☝️☝️☝️☝️🤠 what a reaction YESSSSSS
The cool thing about them is that they got that full sound with only 3 members...
Yup no backing tracks just pure power.
Motorhead were my 1st live gig,i was 14 & i saw them at the Portsmouth Guildhall Uk in 1980 & they broke the world record for loudest gig inside that night,I also met them after & they all signed my programme & album sleeve, still remember that day so vividly
yeah, sorry headphones don't go loud enough to appreciate the essence that was motorhead live
I was 10 years when this song was released and they play it on the radio and i was addicted of Motorhead :) There is so many good songs but here is my favorites :)
Overkill
Killed By Death
Going to Brazil
Love me like a reptil
The Chase Is Better Than The Catch
And of course the cover version of David Bowies Heroes, fantastic cover :)
This is a perfect song. There's not an ounce of excess, everything is dialed in just right.
You gotta respect man who named his bass amp "Murder One". RIP Lemmy.
" We're Motörhead, and we play Rock'n'Roll" 🤘
"You think that last song was fast, this next song is so fast, if you try to dance to it, you'll break your f'n' legs." - Lemmy - Motorhead was simply, BADASS. My favorite song of theirs is 'Killed by Death'. The official video is awesome.
WE'RE MOTORHEAD, WE PLAY ROCK N ROLL!
Pardon me good Sir, only Lemmy can say that line..not you.
Your so adorable I love your reactions 🥰❤️
Saw Lemmy perform as a special guest with Metallica on their "Death Magnetic" tour. I was so glad I got to see him perform before he passed. RIP to one of the greats.
When I first got the CD of ‘Death Magnetic’ by Metallica and was playing it in the car, - when it got to the track ‘All nightmare long’, my right foot went down, the speed went up, and the fuel gauge went in the opposite direction.
I am glad I got that album, and so was the owner of my local petrol station.
@@De5O54 That was my favorite track. I've been listening to Metallica since "Ride the Lightning". I've been hooked ever since. Own all the albums, and listen to them regularly.
Motörhead concerts where like a constant smash in the face und you were standing there demanding more of it. So glad I experienced that several times in my life. R.I.P. Lemmy
"Rock n roll", my favourite
MotorHead the GOAT of RocknRoll! RIP Lemmy (vocalist) and RIP Philthy "Animal" Taylor! (drummer) and RIP Fast Eddie!!
I’d like to react to her reaction…From the very first note, her facial expression changed from “curious to check it out” to “looking like she was ready to get in the pit and throw some some elbows”. That was fun to watch. 😅
First band I ever saw. March ‘82. I was 14 at the time. What an introduction to live music. Think my ears are still ringing over 40 years later.
Motörhead achieved God-like status among all the other huge metal and rock bands as they were such a massive influence on so many. They all looked up to Motörhead.
It’s always Great ,how Lemmy starts off with- “We are MotorHead,We play Rock n Roll”
Lemmy got his mail at a bar in LA. They have a statue of him there. The man was Legend. Still Legend RIP BROTHER
Rainbow bar
Amazing ❤️
Ace Of Spades is so powerful that my 21yr old son (who only listens to Pop/Rap/R&B) will blast this song while driving, he loves it!!!
check out the interview with lemmy , when they ask why he sets his micophone up high like that. RIP Lemmy
Godfather of heavy metal
Lemmy, the GREATEST ROCK STAR ever in Musical History. This Song changed everything and united all the Metalheads and Punks back in those Days....LEMMY 4EVER!......R.I.P. Lemmy,Phil and Eddie, the best Trio ever !
"He has a harsh voice"
A pack of Marlboros & a liter of Jack Daniel's a day will do that
Oh hell yeah, probably my very first concert ever. Must have been around 15. Brilliant times.
My favorite band, I've been listening to them since the beginning and I've seen them perform many times. It is said that Lemmy stated to the effect that when leave their show your ears should be bleeding.
When my 20 year old son and I take a road we take turns playing songs off our playlists. He played this song for me. He knew all the lyrics. I was pleasantly blown away.
I was 12 years old and had listened to Motorhead for a couple of years when I went to my first Motorhead concert. I was so scared but I just had too and was willing to die. 😂
Best memory from my childhood.
He has a harsh voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If only Lemmy were still with us to see your reaction. RIP Lemmy you f'ffing LEGEND.
My Motörhead favourite: "I don`t believe a word " Keep on rocking Bisscute , cheers from germany :-)
Thank you for this my dear 🥰 this is an band that once you hear it,you will allways know the sound and know it´s Motörhead 😍
My first LP I bought when I was 14...and have had that albumcover as backpatch on my jeans vest, have seen them live more than 20 times, always great concerts. Miss them 😢
One of the very first songs I ever learned on drums in my first metal/cover band back in the 80s :)
Were you doing Meth too?
@@kevinsmith4429 I wish.
@@thelatentobserver121 😳
I was born at the very moment that Motorhead took the stage for the very first time. Lemmy might be my spirit animal!!! ❤
oh? could be ❤
A classic! Lemmy is tha man! 🤟
ALWAYS WAS
Lemmy was the personification of Rock 'n Roll, his raspy voice came from lots of cigarettes and even more whiskey, he took every kind of drug except heroin and he played the bass like a rhythm guitar, which is the secret of the special Motörhead sound.
"Overkill" live is a must see!
The greatest of all time and great influence for many bands like metallica... thanks for react to this band..🤘
"2 minutes and 50 seconds of pure madness" 🤣🤣well said Biss.
I was, I think, 12 when this song came out. It was the fastest thing for miles around, and blew everyone away
Its amazing ❤
When I was 15 I watching mtv they had show called young ones they were on the show then I saw them live in Arizona
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 memories are strong with this one. Skating ingame and then going outside to fall on my knees over and over. Good times :)
We are Motorhead and we ARE rock and roll!!
Proper motorway driving music with the top down
Love watching you learn about stuff I have been listening too since I was a child and enjoying the same as I do.
So happy to see you react to Motorhead!
This song was as Cupid's arrow straight to my heart🎸
"shine "a good one too.👏
When I play Motörhead all neighborhood gets to enjoy them!!
Absolutely adorable
Long Live Lemmy's Wart!
Amongst the best concerts I've ever been too!
Iconic , Lemmy lives on , & so does Motor head ... 🖤💣🎶🎵🎼🎧🎤💪💙👏😜😉🎸 Lucky enough to see them a few times in my life AWESOME... !!!
Your reaction was my favourite reaction of all time 😹
Lemmy, the iconic frontman of Motorhead, left an indelible mark on the world of rock and roll. He epitomized the rockstar stereotype, embodying rebellion, excess, and unapologetic attitude. Motorhead's significance lies not only in their thunderous sound but also in their influence on shaping heavy metal and hard rock. Their anthems like "Ace of Spades" and "Overkill" became anthems of defiance, capturing the essence of their live-fast, no-holds-barred ethos. Albums like "No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith" and "Bomber" are etched into rock history, showcasing Lemmy's gritty vocals and the band's relentless energy. His legacy persists through his music and the impact he had on generations of fans and fellow musicians.
I see, thanks for the info
I'm in love again!
Oh yes, I love Motorhead, Lemmy rocks!
Haha glad you love it
@@BisscuteReacts Forgot to tell you, Motorhead live in a small theatre in downtown Portland Oregon, was voted best concert of the year. From this local newspaper Williamette Weekly. Back in the early 2000s.
It was a real thing! Respect!👌👍
As Lemmy Kilmeister said "We are Motorhead, and we play Rock and Roll!"
I saw them live many years ago. My ears were ringing for days after. You should listen to Overkill and Bomber.
Bisscute you made us a great sunday. U r lovely
The most badass rock song ever. \m/
The BEST crowds at the couple of Motorhead shows I attended. It was punk kids, metal kids, and outlaw bikers, but no fights, and the bikers always seemed to get a big kick about watching kids in the pit. They almost looked like poorly-selected chaperones:)
By far my favorite Motorhead song is "Deaf Forever", R.I.P. Lemmy 🤘🤘
Have seen them 5 times. RIP Lemmy. Late 80s, early 90s. Met Lemmy once out at the bus. A true Gentleman !
So happy I was able to see Motorhead live several years back with Megadeth and Volbeat! Lemmy always put on a great show.
A true classic!
Years later a riff of that song was used by group called The KLF in their track "America: What Time Is love"... :)
Lemmy Kilmister did this for nearly or over 50 years of his life . true legend
Very rowerful song! I love it! R.I.P. Lemmy
I love Motorhead. May Lemmy rest in power.
i have a friend who is the lead singer of the bands triphammer and steel assasin whenhe was out in la.he hung out with lemi alot.at lemis birthday metalica played for his bd.
Bisscute....I love your reactions....you just tell it like it is.....this is one of those songs I just can't stop listening to.....I never listened to Motorhead when I was younger.....but now I can't stop listening to them.....for a three man band.....they and their sound kick ass
hell yeah you picked a good song in ace of spades that song is a metal anthem right there.
Hearing this song makes me want to drink beer. Strange.
Good reaction. 👍
Great reaction as always.
Thank you so much ❤️
Yes, this is absolutely a phenomenal, incredible classic. And Motorhead is truly one of the greatest bands ever. May lemmy rest in peace. Amazing video.
So many fun FACTS about this band. Phil (the drummer) broke his neck after being lifted above the head of a friend in a test of strength, only to be dropped on his head and Lemmy (vocals n bass) spent so much time in his local bar that the postman used to deliver the mail there rather than to his home. All sadly missed! :(
So many to choose from. Killed By Death is my personal favourite. Thankfully got to see them live once. Ears rang for two days. Wish we still had the chance to see them :(
Saw these guys in a little venue in KC about 10 or 12 years ago and it was awesome. Loud asf. 🤘
I bet ❤
RIP Lemmy!!!
The 1st time I heard this song was in the British TV Show "The Young Ones"
hi, greats reactions :) saludos desde chile
Thank you Biss. It's still a must song here in the MC world. LH&R. 🇮🇹🤘🇧🇪
