Could you explain to me the further advantages of "night vision"? It seems to me that pedestrians are already protected by the systems I see in your video. In which cases could I have more security from "night vision"?
Basically it is a thermal vision device that is aimed to spot pedestrians which have pretty much clear heat signature, which can be coupled with the lidar system to detect them almost flawlessly, as lidar itself can not understand what he sees, it can just say THERE IS SOMETHING, but coupled with the Thermal Visor it can spot a person in complete darkness and provide an immediate response.
@@kermit32dll pratically "night vision"provides to lidar further informations about something that is not illuminated by the car's headlights ,that's is good! But a pedestrian crossing my route will still be illuminated by the headlights!if I understand correctly lidas and nightvision togheter see farther than they could see in just the headlights?
your side markers should be GREEN - that means the system is recognizing side markings and only then will it vibrate + make virtual display lines red. if they are GREY, it does not recognize side markings and will not assist, they will also be GREY under 40MPH (from 2020+ i believe) whether it recognizes markings or not.
Great video to see all the options in one place.

Thanks for your help
Thank you . Beautiful explanation .
My Audi only came with Audi pre-sense, can I get Audi active lane assist installed or more safety options installed?
Yes but not in Audi
Does anyone know why the wheel is not vibrating under side assist even when the vibration mode is on?
