I'm so grateful to You Tube by which it is possible to watch Gilligan's Island, which I've never forgotten and was overjoyed to reconnect with.I think there's a little of Gilligan in each one of us and sometimes we see ourselves in him or wish to have his happy go lucky, unassuming nature which makes life so hilarious.
Love most of these scenes but especially the one where Gilligan falls out of the tree on top of the Skipper knocking him to the ground. Then he gives the Skipper his hat back filled with sand. This was such a fun show for kids and adults alike.
I think the skipper was more than kind and patient with Gilligan. I have read comments to the opposite but I don't agree. That is what made him so likable and why these two complimented each other.
Bravo! It's sad to think these two wonderful actors are no longer with us. Nice to see your video which brings back so many memories when I watched this show with my family.
I've been following this videographer's work for quite some time now. Her earlier works were entertaining and I have noted a growth in her professionalism as more videos have appeared. This video continues in that trend. Kudos to her. The Captain would be proud.
My skipper story... Back in 1970 or 71 I was in L.A. with my dad for a business trip of his. I was about 12 years old. He asked me where we should eat one evening. I went through the phone book or the hotel dining guide and I saw Alan Hale's Lobster Barrel. "Let's go there," I said, Even though I'd never even had lobster and didn't know what it was. So we did. I THINK it was on the Sunset strip but I'm not sure. As I recall the neon sign was a big barrel with the image of the skipper, cap and all. Once seated I looked around and seated over at the bar was the big guy himself. Sitting next to him was the "house dick", or security. I knew that by the snub-nose .38 riding on his hip. I said to my dad, "LOOK !, there's the skipper". Dad says, "would you like to meet him ?" "Do you think I could ???" Dad motions for the waiter and whispers in his ear. A few minutes later the Skipper himself strides over and introduces himself. He was MUCH bigger than I expected. I was nearly 6' tall and he towered above me. He must have been 6'3' or better. I instantly stood and told him what a big fan I was and what a thrill it was to meet him. Well, he put his arm around my shoulder and said how happy he was to meet ME, all smiles and hugs. Then we posed for a picture that my dad took with his (Mom's) Kodak Instamatic. In a moment it was over and he was gone. A memory that stays with me even today. Whenever I watch G.I. I think of him fondly. I'll bet be repeated that moment several times a night with other lucky kids like me.
Your videos are outstanding, you such a pro, a real fan from the core. You dedicate such attention to details.Thank you for sharing your videos with us all. 🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋😀😀🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
I wonder if these actors actually got hurt filming. I read somewhere that Alan Hale broke his arm falling out of a tree and then he continued to acting until the season was over. What a champ.

I like the fact you got a lot of episodes in this video. I will always like the first season the best.
Bravo, it's easy to miss the Skipper. He survived Gilligan for 15 years on the island and then went back for more.
Perfect song for the Skipper...he sure did have to pick himself up and get back in the race many, many times when Gilligan was around.
+In the Nick of Time: That's for sure. It's amazing the Skipper survived all the Gilligan ordeals. He was a tough guy with a heart of gold.
I am a big Gilligan's Island fan and new to youtube. i absolutely loved this video and am still laughing.
Love this talented video. This old timer song is so right for our poor Skipper. Forgot about all his dirty digs back at Gilligan.
I loved Gilligan's Island and Frank Sinatra. I wouldn't have thought of putting them together, but it works great!
This was funny!!! Wow, I forgot what a good natured trooper the Skipper was.
My very favorite Gillian and Skipper video. Great choice of song.....Love it!!
A Frank Sinatra song!!!! I had not heard him in a long time. It works. Loved everything about this.
I think the skipper was more than kind and patient with Gilligan. I have read comments to the opposite but I don't agree. That is what made him so likable and why these two complimented each other.
I always wanted to be on that island!! How fun would it have been to have Skipper and Gilligan and all the castaways has friends😆
This is a creative video and I am old enough to remember this song.
Good job..love the song you chose to go with video.

Wiley Coyote thank you for your comments. You are way too kind. This has been a fun hobby for me.
Happy Birthday Alan Hale, Jr. who would be 95 today on March 8, 2016.
Nice song for the Skipper even if I am not a Sinatra fan. You got some great scenes that reminded me how great this show was.
Wow, The words of the music and action are such a great match. Very
well done!!!!!!
JEAN MAC thanks for the nice comments.
Too funny, how could anyone not love these two guys?
I like the way this was put together. Very unique.
I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king.
Excellent video. I loved Gilligan's Island since way back when. Love how you brought memories from many of the episodes together.

Lord Ligonier, what a great story. I can well imagine that is a memory to savor forever. Can't think of a nicer person to meet
This would have been a great video without the music. The actual audio from the show would have been hilarious.
well put together great song
Nice video and the captures were so well timed.
Most entertaining and Frankie was an added touch.
Sometimes its easy to forget how many times Gilligan caused Skipper to fall or get hurt. Good thing Skipper is a big, strong guy.
Your videos are outstanding, you such a pro, a real fan from the core. You dedicate such attention to details.Thank you for sharing your videos with us all. 🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋😀😀🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
+Angel Kitty thank you so much for the kind words. It was a fun project since I also enjoy Frank Sinatra.
Survival, that's what you hope for with Gilligan.
Just a treat to watch your videos. 💝💖💛💙💚
The Skipper had to be good natured and patient to survive Gilligan. I forgot how many times the Skipper fell when Gilligan was near by.
Very very righteous video edit.
MORE! MORE! MORE VIDEOS IN THIS VEIN!
Love love this video!
Enjoyed this video. still a fan of Frank Sinatra and song works very well with your video.
A lot of fans probably do not realize that Alan Hale, Jr was once awarded Senior Citizen of the year in Los Angeles County. What an honorable man.
I wonder if these actors actually got hurt filming. I read somewhere that Alan Hale broke his arm falling out of a tree and then he continued to acting until the season was over. What a champ.
Fantastic!
This is hilarious. You need to watch this to remind yourself of how in the heck did the skipper survive Gilligan.

LOLOLOL! This Sinatra song actually works!
Truly Very funny. They were good, on the order of Laurel & Hardy. Your editing is very fine also.
Bob Denver and Alan Hale were really good friends for many years.
Loved seeing the Skipper hitting Gilligan with his hat.
Oh yes, I like this one.
Nicely creative!!!
Today Commemorates Alan Hale Jr.'s 95th Birthday~
Nicely done.
Anybody else hearing that's life it takes away from the clips.😑😶
Love it!
How in the world did the Skipper, or the others for that matter, survive a Gilligan?
These two are reminiscent of Laurel and Hardy.
I wonder if season 1 has been transferred to color. If so, I can't find it anywhere.
If you look at Atoll k,utopia from Laurel and hardy.gilligan did not connect the rope to the anchor
I watch too much. I knew every scene
Sherwood Swartz could not have hired a better Skipper. Alan Hale, Jr was perfect up against Gilligan.
I just started to do musical videos so I appreciate this one. When I get going, check me out on Bewitched.
at 3.33 what's the episode
This video has clips from multiple episodes from all three seasons.
Cool😎😎😎
