And her playing “he’s an English man” while she kills bob really was her saying “for my brother”
What I really liked about this segment is how in addition to being good by itself it implies a full alternate continuity where time keeps moving forward after Bart’s death and raises questions about what happens in the period between alternate Cape Feare and the present.
- Homer becomes an *Alcoholic* Alcoholic. Probably what led him to an early grave (Choked on a Tennis Ball, probably as part of a Bar Game). - Marge emulates her Sisters, taking up smoking & distracting herself by socializing with Wine Moms. She neglects her remaining children. Still, it’s not enough, and she dies of Sorrow. By then, Lisa and Maggie are adults, and her Mother’s death awakens Lisa’s split personality & violent tendencies. - Maggie’s childhood was troubled. She nearly broke bad, but Lisa & the system saved her. She becomes a police officer because of the experience, and was actually planning to get Bob killed herself (in a shanking, or something of the sort). But when Lisa was arrested, Maggie changed her plans, and helped Lisa kill Bob. - Grandpa Simpson often forgets Bart is dead. He finds it too painful to remember, and his dementia gets worse. He dies much sooner. - Ned’s children don’t take too well to Bart’s Death. His eldest Rob rejects Christianity, believing God doesn’t exist/is evil, and becomes a foul-mouthed Comedian. - The Bullies regret their treatment of Bart, after his death. They tone-down their bullying a bit, because of it. They get into Police Work because of Maggie’s intervention (The School arranges a field trip, it appeals to the bullies). - Everyone else goes on with their lives. The other Children grow up, and find good careers. The adults carry on with their drama as usual. - The Simpsons find themselves involved in fewer episodic hijinks, poorer, and are generally more depressed than comedic. They even move to a new neighborhood, unable to afford their old home. Their show is now a tragedy, a deconstruction of The American Dream that the 90s Simpsons depicted. Lisa desperately tries to hold her family together, only to helplessly witness her Father and Mother deteriorate, and watch as Maggie loses her innocence to her circumstances. A show like that would be canceled far sooner than OTL Simpsons, but leave a different kind of profound cultural impact, which resonates with a cult audience.

i love how this is, all things considered, a decent iteration of the shlocky ableist Evil Split Personality trope. like yeah sure getting your brother slaughtered in front of you at age 8 is the right kind of acute trauma to do that to your head. heck, even the fact that she emulates some of bob’s mannerisms!
I consider that if bart's spirit was there looking at the door lisa doing vegence against sideshow bob, he would say "Lisa, I... I'm proud of you. Your my best sister that i could ever had."
I love this episode because of how realistically it could’ve been the true story This started as just a regular Episode but Bob killed Bart instead of making an incompetent decision that led to Barts survival It’s VERY FITTING though that both of Barts siblings team up to avenge him though… It’s also very believable that such a trauma would cause the 2 siblings to go down a long path to avenge him

1:02 never gets old
Agreed the rake gag is a classic and does represent the humiliation Sideshow Bob goes through with Krusty before becoming a hardened criminal.
Eughegeehehegehgweluh
-sideshow bob
He could’ve saved himself 🤦♂️
Sad news today sideshow Bob was found dead with self inflicted stab wounds, his cellmate former psychiatrist Lisa Simpson happened to be asleep at the time
“But to get into your cell, I had a little help!”
I just love the way she says that ❤
sounds like her mom!
The Simpsons finally revealing the shows true psychopath...Lisa!
Lisa is more Sociopath for Pyschopath has not feeling for nothing Lisa still cares for Bart when Lisa is now a Crazy killer she is doing it more for her own hatred against Bob for killing Bart Lisa Big Brother
Sideshow Bob is more of a Pyschopath.
When Lisa Simpson has More Anger Pyscotic Sociopath
Adult Maggie is really cute
Amazingly true
Off to Rule34
The way she slicks back her hair in the most sassy way-
Why does Lisa's "Hello, Bob" make me feel things....?
Now it all makes sense Lisa created a second personality after she witnessed Sideshow Bob killed Bart and began terrorizing by killing all of the first borns in Springfield
Lisa's split personality gave me nightmares but I love her. My favorite part of Treehouse of Horror 29 is "MultipLisa-ty".
Maggie is an accomplice to a bunch of gruesome murders but let's not think about that.
She’s taking one for the team ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼
Blood Is Thicker than water
Nuff said
I'm sure she's killed people too
I love how maggie was just giving outside not even caring about the gory sound effects
The ironic part is that Bob could have used the rake to try and defend himself
Yes he could have done that and resist against lisa he could have win.
This is the most mentally healthy Lisa I've seen in like 20 seasons.
The detail of Maggie as police officer was great.
Quedó genial el detalle de Maggie como oficial de la policía.
#SpringfieldPoliceDepartment
i love how this is, all things considered, a decent iteration of the shlocky ableist Evil Split Personality trope. like yeah sure getting your brother slaughtered in front of you at age 8 is the right kind of acute trauma to do that to your head. heck, even the fact that she emulates some of bob’s mannerisms!
Lisa got her revenge after bart got killed by him which makes a good reason for too
I bet Lisa killed those victum on purpose just to get herself arrested and sent to prison just to get revenge on Sideshow Bob for killing Bart.
That is what happened
She literally explains it in the video
Bingo 👉
Also was implied in the video
This is the third video that you made this comment
You’ve made this same comment on every video that’s about this
I consider that if bart's spirit was there looking at the door lisa doing vegence against sideshow bob, he would say "Lisa, I... I'm proud of you. Your my best sister that i could ever had."
I love this episode because of how realistically it could’ve been the true story
This started as just a regular Episode but Bob killed Bart instead of making an incompetent decision that led to Barts survival
It’s VERY FITTING though that both of Barts siblings team up to avenge him though… It’s also very believable that such a trauma would cause the 2 siblings to go down a long path to avenge him
To quote Joaquin Phoenix; "You get whatcha fucking deserve!"
R.I.P. Sideshow Bob 🌺🕊️
1:03 Always has to be the rake!
He probably could've used it to defend himself
Old habits die hard 1:02 😂
I've always loved Sideshow Bob. I want my childhood back.
this was my favorite scene. it showed lisa’s insanity and love for bart
Also did she just hello-bart Bob?
Yep cause in this Bob was her creator and what better way to end this chapter but with one of the things that made her.
Oh, i see there's a little misunderstanding with the definition of this occasionalism i thought was quite clear (meant as just a way of greeting for how iconic it became to Bob), but i like your conception, too, maybe even better. (Chuckles)
Why is this animation soooo smooth??
Admit it: you will do the same for family and close friends.
This proves family runs deep
What's more disturbing? When Lisa is showing her utter joy as she approaches Bob, or her showing her hatred as she stabs him?
The HMS pinafore reference from one of the first sideshow bob episodes is perfect.
Bob should’ve seen this coming as soon as Bart died. Sure he got put in Prison but he should’ve known that Lisa and Maggie would get revenge on Bob for killing Bart. Lisa witnessed Bart get murdered are Bob knew that Lisa was watching.
The Simpsons sisters got to avenge their brother Bart's murder, and I thought this was actually quite funny.
The fact that the sound Lisa played was the same music when Sideshow Bob killed Bart
This is surprisingly one of the most well animated moments in the Simpsons I've ever seen❤
Good on Maggie for helping her sister get revenge for their brother.
At first, Bob sounded really proud of Lisa for her vengeful murder spree.
But when he learned that it was a split personality disorder, he became disappointed in her.
I bet Maggie knew all along what was going on with Lisa, but wanted to avenge her brother too and figured it was best to ket her sister do what she wanted
Get this: The people who were killed in this scene's story were all first-borns. Bart the youngest, and Bob the oldest.
ngl adult Lisa looks hot
Kelsey Grammer is just perfect as Sideshow Bob, i imagine him to be a deranged version of Fraiser
I always knew Lisa and Maggie would become best friends 😊
this is one if not the most gruesome simpsons episodes ever and for a middel secment it is so cool and gave we psycho vides and the ending was so good and creepy
side note what song did lisa play?
"He's a Gentleman" the same song Bob was singing when he killed Bart
Edit: correction it's "He Remains a Englishman"
My bad
@@williamwolfxrivera9929 thanks
@@williamwolfxrivera9929Actually it's "He remains an Englishman"
@@DogDayFromPoppyPlaytime180 oh
the fact that she kills him to "he is an englishman" is poetic imo
The animation is good
Edit: Nice callback with the song
Is it wrong that I find serial killer Lisa kind of hot
No, I also find future Maggie hot too.
I can fix her
Not at all everybody's into something and sometime evil is so... Seductive
@@grantbriton5933 It's a good way to go out
@@Alphablue-tp4xcreal
I love that Maggie, despite being an adult, still sucks on her pacifier.
Ironic to me that the scene of Lisa killing Bob while "englishman" plays in the background reminds me of William Afton getting springlocked while "toreador march" plays in the background.
The irony is that in Fun Times at Homer's 3, Sideshow Bob took the role as Purple Guy/William afton and got brutally killed when becoming Suitcage
Not surprising that Maggie and Lisa would be partners in crime
I wonder who raised the master Homer and Marge died. I mean, Grandpa Simpson is in a home, so I'd like to think it was krusty to clown, since he would probably feel responsible for what side show Bob did.
1:17 Lisa: This is for my brother Bart
Lisa wanted to avenge her whole family, she and Maggie were the last ones, Side Show Bob killed Bart, Marge died from sorrow, but Homer died from choking on a tennis ball.
The best part for me was when she started playing He’s An Englishman as she did the deed. Very Clockwork Orange. Take what they love and turn it into the melody of their greatest nightmare.
Perfect. 😈
Maggie still having the pacifier 😂
Some people remain young...😮😢
