- Shakti is an open-source initiative by the RISE group at IIT-Madras, which is
not only building open source, production grade processors, but also associated
components like interconnect fabrics, verification tools, storage controllers, peripheral IPs and SOC tools.
The Shakti project is building a family of 6 processors, based on the RISC-V ISA. - Наука та технологія
Congrats to the entire team. Nice to see Kama sir's dream of having India's own processor.
He taught me C programming. Amazing teacher

Dr, V. Kamakoti....???
Hi .Azad .hope you are fine..am a research scholar..can u share his email id
Congratulations to entire team... 👏👏 Proud to be a part of support team.. 👏👏👍
what is stopping india or any other country or company from making chips of the level of say intels i3 or i5??? or amd? can somebody explain?
@@curtleyambrose100 main problem is fund from government.., need huge investment to start 300mm manufacturing facility to make advance node chips like lower than 20 nano meter technology..

Congrats to the team. I hope govt put more funds into R&Ds
A home grown solution is need of time. Glad to see thing happening.
Great work done by IIT-M Kamakoti sir and team 👍
Its Great to see India's Own processor.
Proud of You.
Thanks for uploading!!
Wonderful Work!! Feel great that My India / My Bharat / My Hindustan is surely waking up after a loooooooong slumber of 1000yrs+
Inspiring... congratulations and best wishes...
goodwork and we must go forward don't stop thanksyou
Hearly congratulations to the Tech Wizards behind this. APJ Abdul Kalam's dream is becoming reality and his blessings would always be with us. Let's be united and excel in all fields. Jai hind!

A awesome job by the team. 😀 And IIT Madras. And kudos to govt for funding this project. This is absolutely awesome.
How much was the fund?
Well done waiting for world fastest super computer from india
@Z3U5 haha
Congratulations to the entire team! Keep it up! God bless you !
Hope our young innovators stay in India and work towards inspiring others. I dream of Indians having their own Facebook, what's app. and UA-cam. God help you all and your promoters.
Excellent work. Lots of congratulations to Sir, and his entire team for making India self reliant in the field of microprocessor. Looking forward to see it in 2020.
Jai Hind Vandey mathhram.
If the 22nm chip entirely made by indigenous technology I way more happy.
In india, calcutta university, iisc bengaluru have the capacity to make 10 nm nodes. But the government as you know is always sluggish and fuckin fool pig.
@@arpansow3870 no they don't. India has only one Fab SCL Chandigarh which is 180nm node. 22 nm would most likely have been fabricated in TSMC

I was waiting for this day from a long time.
Hearty Congratulations team.
I wish you all the best and request to continue with your work and create more and more indigenous chips using HDL

Thanks for great innovation for us , Sir.
Congrats to entire team.I hope in coming years I would get to see this processor in smartphones
How can I contact the team? I would like 5o educate my audience on this achievement
I really look forward to your video on this topic. Shakti is a great achievement of Indian scientists.

It is totally possible. Indian Government should look into this.
Great work👍
My best wishes are always with you , i hope in coming years we would get to see these indegenously developed processors in our pc ,laptop ,mobiles etc . Best of luck 👍 and may prosper in this initiative. 😃
Kudos, like ISRO, hope we have our own processor powered computing devices.
excellent job by modi government for funding these ambitious made in india projects...
Very good Unnikuttan
Keep it up

Wow! I wonder if it will be in every Indian smartphone
Congratulations to the entire team for successful development & testing of first indigenous processors. Eagerly hope that Qualcomm & Intel chipsets in our smartphones & laptops are replaced by Shakti processors.
Guys like you make india great 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
what will Pakistan do? As a Pakistani I proud that at least India is going in the right direction. We are busy awarding trophies to tiktokers. Kudos to India and kore Shakti to Shakti processor.

"Indian Youth Have Potential To Change World": US Consul General
United States Consul General Edgard Kagan said India has over 600 million people under the age of 25 who had the ability to change society, country and the world.
Indian youth have the potential to change the world despite the tremendous barriers they face, United States Consul General Edgard Kagan said today.
He was speaking at the ninth edition of the United Nations Young Changemakers Conclave held in association with the US Consulate General in Mumbai.
The theme of the conclave this year was "Re-imagining Impact" in the digital age.
Mr Kagan said India has over 600 million people under the age of 25 who had the ability to change society, country and the world.
"As an outsider, I feel very privileged to be here as I see this taking root. I see people beginning to realise the potential they have to seize tremendous opportunities despite what we recognise as tremendous barriers," he said.
He said problems in society are increasingly inter-related and ability to solve a problem in isolation was difficult.
"If we want to try and address problems, then we have to think about not just what's the problem, but why it's there and the challenges in trying to fix them," he said.

Congratulations ,🇮🇳🇮🇳. Being based on RISC architecture, Shakti could be a suitable choice for real time applications. Is there any information available on MIPS of these processors?
Congratulations 👍🇮🇳
Congrats and hats off to all the people behind our processor
Good advancement in technology........ moving towards the right direction

You guys amazing
Amazing work.....Proud Indian.....
Congratulations to the team...🤗🤗
Congratulations team... Keep it up... Hope it doesn't get limited to labs and should be cheaper than current processors in Indian market. Export will generate more revenue if this could cope with others. All the best.

So we have started moving.
Hope our team of scientists cross link applied knowledge and move ahead fast without having to reinvent the wheel. At the same time each of the steps have to be learnt without putting in too much time or resources into that.
India trusts you, and you can reach great heights, and we are all looking forward in expectation, this being one of the few areas where we need a lot of 'catching up' to do.
Wish you the very best.
NEVER EVER FORGET YOUR TEAM SPIRIT AND FOCUS and keep a low profile.

This only field is enough and will take world down securing country and Indian Confidential data, Well Done MODI's ji for Make in INDIA Dream come true!!! Your support is vast and wide. very big and huge news, let it be low. We need IoT controller Boards and Router machines and own OS which has no copy concepts and totally new core working security systems. Make it totally undisclosed security with no loopholes in hardware chip level.
Started late but will Accelerate at to the ^ level.

Congrats to the entire team, B4 I was wondering why India is not making any microchip processor. Hope we can see the latest gadgets and mobiles with our homemade chip. Once again all the very best for the entire team. Hope u progress very soon and make no 1 microchip processor in the world.

Congrats sir.

Amazing
We need our own fab of 28 or 32nm at least we cant go to 14nm as of now but we should try at least... We already have 180nm fab but its for defence purpose and very old technology... Congress totally ignored these technological area now we all are suffering...
Instead we should look into more advanced architecture, like 7nm or lower. I mean if we are starting new, why do what has already been done?
@@debabratasahoo6487 is it possible to directly jump to 7nm or 14nm without developing similar chips ha?
@@kratosspartan9125 , I frankly do not know, what I meant though was that we should invest pur money and intellect on something new, rather than something which has been done.
What does the random person know about wafer manufacturing? And I am random af! :D
@@debabratasahoo6487 well i am not fab owner nor a electronic background guy. I just love chips and these things. But i know one thing that making these micro chips are extremly complex task.
