This channel is the ONLY Mac related channel teaching something actually useful. I have been a fan of your channel for many years. Although english is not my first language, Gary makes this tutorials easy to understand. I can not understand how this channel only has 54K subscribers. I wish you all the best on the way to at least 100K subscribers!
This is great. I installed Keynote briefly to deliver training with added-in audio, got overwhelmed, and haven't touched it since. But this looks quite straightforward. I'll have to track down the Keynote software/app. Thanks for the content!
Thanks for the tutorial. Let's say I duplicated slide 1 and wanted the objects to be in their 'new positions' (positions after animation) on Slide 2. But I don't want to go into my Build Order and manually drag each object to its new location b/c I have 20 objects animated. Is there a way to do automatically do this? I know Magic Move is a possibility but I'm trying to stick with Action Build effects for now. Thanks again for making a great tutorial.
Hi Garry I have a question about magic move. I drew a custom shape with pen tool and apply magic move. I’m trying to make zoom in effect by resizing with magic move. First of all, I drew a shape with pen tool. When I move its location, magic move works fine but when I resize it, magic move is off and just dissolve. I have no problem with using magic move for keynote-default shapes, images and moving custom shapes(pen tool). But in terms of resizing custom shapes, it’s not working. Is it end of magic move capability? I don’t think so because magic move is working for just moving custom shape!🤔 Or did I do something wrong?
Hello, thank you for this useful tutorial. I encountered some difficulties with my animation, can you please explain how to make it start automatically ? I want the animation to play without having to click or do anything. Thank you
Photo to video? Not sure what you mean. Like create a slideshow? I have many videos on doing that. Or, using the technique in this video to animate a photo.

Hard for me to say. Try again and experiment.
Thank you for great videos for us new MAC users! Can I put an animation like this into a video made in iMovie ?
Yes. Just export as a video and bring that export into iMovie.
Superb
Thanks for your Video
Can you animate pictures/images in this manner (creating a path) with keynote too?
Wow... I gotta try this stuff. I didn’t know what to do with the line and move.
Can I use these animations for imovies as a preset animation?

Go to View, Show Build Order. Make sure your first animation listed starts After Transition, not On Click.
Great videos and learning. Could you please add video how to change photo to video to add on eBay and amazone video
