Welcome to it! This’ll Do Farm is a 6th generation family farm located in Southeast Iowa that is run by a father-son duo Tork and Sawyer. Sawyer and Tork are the force behind their family farm taking care of pigs, along with farming the family’s acres. Together, they promote agriculture in a positive light by recording their day-to-day life’s on the farm. Both Tork and Sawyer have a burning desire to grow the farm bigger and bigger and hope to showcase to the world what it takes to be a farmer. Come along for the ride!

Nothing better then to watch my pig farm.
When we went from farrow to finish to raising ISO Wean we knew exactly what we were doing for a year, when they were coming when we had to sell and power wash and then start all over again when we got new pigs in. My boss was in the Navy and he wanted to be a a schedule so he could plan things like planting and harvest and vacation. Love your videos as they bring back memories of when I was doing what you're doing. Only bad thing is when I and my cousin were unloading the nursery we were moving pigs out of the nursery and I hit a nipple waterer with my knee and I didn't know that I cut my knee and 16 hours later I went home and my knee was cut and bleeding and a week later I was in the hospital for 3 weeks with a bacterial infection and I still battle it 22 years later.
My advice is to be careful and stay safe !
Though unlikely, if my family ever returned to farming I think we'd give pigs a serious look. The rate at which you can produce product is damn impressive.
You earned a sub when you said to embrace the suck lol. Urban feeder rodent farmer here, I definitely understand the suck lol.
I had to round up some hogs i had and when i got them back in their pen. They all took off to where the the fence had been damaged but, to their dismay I had already repaired it...they headed from the gate straight to where they had gotten out.
Good short-term memory..

Happy new year guys. I sold feeder pigs in the late 70's and early 80's. They had to weigh between 40 and 50 pounds for the best price. Looked like those pigs were around 80 to a hundred pounds. I know you have to thin them out.
Have a great new year and I hope hog prices will go up
You do the same Will! Thanks for watching!

We've written down we need to do, also. Hog growers unite.
I’ve got a good question for you guys. How do you think robots will change the way animals are raised like robotic power washers, robotic milkers, robotic feeding, etc
What do they do with all overstock pigs.
Good suggestion for a shaker is a 16 ounce metal beer can with airsoft BBs
Thanks for the suggestion! Appreciate the support!
Who are you contract growers for ?
How many to the compartments on the truck
Do you allowed tours??
What do you think of the California law that is trying to regulate how you raise pigs so that they will be able to eat them
LUNCH COMES WITH A BEER
Cheers to that and 2022!
How much extra you get paid for overstocking?
Questions : Are your pigs male and female and are the males castrated before you receive them,, female pigs taste better + the age of pigs when you receive as to when you ship..... also dad's right pigs are like inmates always looking for a way out.....Seasons Greeting.....also I have raised several pigs for the dinner table,,,,, BB= better bacon
How many on a truck
how can we apply for this job? hehehe
Torq: "Sometimes we do laundry"
Me: Rather amazed that Torq was actually wearing pants :)
Happy New Year!
