I can’t lie, I thought this movie was a hard watch. The humor was cringeworthy across the board, every performance other than Bill Skarsgård was not good at all or straight up terrible. The tone was all over the place, the emotional parts weren’t earned and the pacing was awful. The one thing that didn’t miss for me was the action. The writing was not for me at all. Characters sort of did what the script told them to and didn’t have much to catch on to. It was like they forced the actors to improvise for minutes at a time almost uncut. The set pieces were cool and fun, but for me, the humor could’ve killed even the greatest action scenes ever (which they weren’t). In my opinion, this movie is nowhere near Monkey Man or the John Wick series. I thought it was a fine action premise with a really great lead performance in a movie that sank itself with terrible writing and extremely stale humor.
Ah! Just got out of it and already planning to see it again in a couple of days! Big-time Schwarzenegger movie-like fun!
I wonder if this is just a lil tooooo over the top to take my 10 1/5 year old son. Because i think we would LOVE this together
Yeah I’d say this would be too much for a 10 year old
@@ALTEXTV Thanks for the heads up!
Sounds like Boy Kills World is the Hunger Games on acid. I’m in!
Oh yeah!! That’s 100% what it basically is!!
@@ALTEXTVboy kills world is awesome
I REALLY HOPE BOY DOESN'T DIE AT THE END, IT'S BEEN DONE TO DEATH (no pun intended)
You’re right it’s the voice of Bob and Archer! Total mishmash of Hardcore Henry, Guns Akimbo, and The Raid. The movie kept moving!
