Yeah the ford is pretty good, I liked it a lot. It is a fun and fast car to drive. But the Pagani is probably the best car in the game. I have it at all tens and usually win all races. But what frustrates me, is like some dude with a shitty lancer or an old porch beats me. When my car is exotic and they car is a pile of shit. They know something I don't, I am trying figure that out. I only drive exotic cars.
Just a heads-up for those that are using automatic gearboxes. After testing the GT through J-Storm, Sonic, Helios, and Columbia 4 times each, the 6-speed is the way to go for races with longer hill climbs and high-speed turns. The 7-speed lags behind in 7th gear and will stay in 7th at 170 mph when it should be in 6th. FYI, 6th gear goes to about 200mph. The revs are really low in 7th gear at 170 mph, so it can’t climb. I averaged 3:12 on J-Storm with the 7 speed and 3:07 with the 6 speed. I averaged 3:58 on Columbia with the 7 speed and 3:56 with the 6 speed. I averaged 2:43 on Sonic with the 7 speed and 2:41 with the 6 speed. I averaged 2:22 on Helios with the 7 speed and 2:21 with the 6 speed. The 6 speed feels slower when you’re racing with it, which made it feel unnatural to use for me, but it’s actually faster.
The car is incredible, it's fast, it's handling is fantastic, and it's also lot better with drifting than most other supercars in the game, especially when doing corners. I'm very glad the car lived up to it's name in game because it's legacy in car and racing history is massive.

@@MilitiaGamingCommunity can you retry your times on track but with the 6 speed gearbox to compare with 7 speed. I am by far no fast driver but was able to get 3:00.16 on 7speed and a 2:57.96 with 6speed. it would just be a good test bc i noticed atleast for me 6 speed performs better than 7 speed.

This is my favorite car in real life and my favorite car in the game. It's the most beautiful automobile in existence (imho) and it handles so well in-game.
I know this game and video is old but I just started playing a few weeks ago. I like to test engine and transmission and other parts combos on the oval racetrack using the speed trap. I go to the halfway point (about where the ramp to jump in and out is then take off to see what combo traps the best time. I've found the 1/4 Mile estimates aren't always right. I dont know the exact distance but I use the ramp and a sawhorse at the opposite end to make sure I'm using the same distance.

Stock engine is best imo. With pro race suspension, race tires, diff. And I believe 5spd or 7spd would have to check for sure on that.

Elite race tires, they're better on track races because they have slightly less grip which lends itself to the drift mechanic of the game
