This is hilarious! Big Pearl Jam fan here...DMB fan also. Guess I got into both the 'throatiness of Pearl Jam" and the 'cartoony voice' of DM. Had to laugh at this guy spending all that time trying to get through to ticketmaster. Story of a fan's life. LOL
Still, I am sticking with both of these two bands. Both are amazing in live shows - the live shows are better than the studio albums, in fact, for both DMB and Pearl Jam. So I own 80,000 Pearl Jam official bootlegs of their shows...and have all of the DMB live albums and spend mountains of time listening to them live on UA-cam. Who cares? Everyone needs a hobby! They make me happy!
I've never understood the DMB hype, but hey, to each his own. My hypothesis is that Dave Matthews is really a white version of 80's funk singer Cameo. Oh, come one, just listen to "What would you say" next to "Word Up" and tell me I'm crazy.
If you're a Dave head and haven't questioned it before, even if only for a second, then you might want to do some soul searching. Clearly this doesn't mean you have to give up Dave. It's important that you continue to remind yourself why you love this band so much

Yes, I agree that when I go to their concerts I'm always bombarded by the sight of hordes of white people. Many are smoking pot but many aren't.
