Fishing trawler Louisa sinking determined as unknown

A Fatal Accident Inquiry into the sinking of the fishing trawler Louisa in the Western Isles six years ago has determined the reason for the boat sinking is unknown.
Sheriff Derek Pyle ruled the deaths of three fishermen were due to the boat's life raft not being regularly serviced - and concluded the gas cylinder that should have inflated it, was empty.

You know you are dealing with serious liberal weasels when the point they make is about a life raft not inflating. Why did the boat sink, and what make is the vessel?

The liferaft would have been fitted with a Hydrostatic Release , had it released and inflated the outcome could have been very different .
