question about installation on a JL. am I supposed to swap over the connector for the seat belt so the car isn't peeping? also, how does that work if I purchase the three point harness?

My driver side seat bracket doesn't have a mounting point for my OEM seatbelt and the one on the passenger side isn't in the correct position. Don't all Corbeau rails have OEM seatbelt brackets?

Have a 2019 2 door JL and the seats are tge most uncomfortable and too high for my wife. Does this bracket change anything like angle or height cauae if it does might try that. Or is this bracket same geometry as stock JL brackets and just made so you dont need to remove stick one to put on aftermarket seats?

Hi @Lefishn, the Corbeau JL brackets completely replace the factory bracket and allow you to mount any Corbeau seat. Depending on the seat you go with you may have some height difference, but otherwise, it will be similar to the stock geometry. The stock JL brackets have height adjustment and the Corbeau brackets are fixed so that is something to keep in mind.

@CorbeauSeats lmao...I thought you meant underneath could lower the seat on different brackets. Even with the lever seat has about 5" wasted space under it so no idea why the lowest setti g is so high and that makes the lever useless cauae would put someone's head through the roof...lol. Hell my wife is 5'4" and seat being so high at front makes it so she barely reaches pedals and I'm 6' and can barely see the traffic lights cause I'm so high.

Do the factory seats work on these brackets? I need to modify my seat brackets to lower my sitting position two inches due to my height.

Thanks for the question! Factory seats are not designed to bolt directly to the Corbeau bolt pattern. Give us a call with the bolt pattern on your factory seat and we can help you determine if adapting the seat to a Corbeau bracket is possible. 801-255-3737 M-F 9am-5pm MST.

The chassis on the CC is typically the same as the Jetta or Golf for the same year(s). Just to be sure, it would be helpful to get some measurements of the mounting holes in your floor pan (front to back and side to side). I can't wait for the survey I am going to make their engineers sad. I wonder if they even look at stock jeeps? because from what I see ZERO attention to detail. I mean for just a test go find a jeep just a random jeep tell them we want to put seats in for free .and just set back and watch all the omg moments happen
