Nice review John, I'm a big fan of Dali speakers so I'm interested to hear how these sound - I will have to have a listen when I'm next at your store!
Thanks Steve, you're welcome any time. I know you love your Oberon 5, so you'll certainly love the Rubikore 2. - John
Good looking handsome speakers
Nice review. I should get a pair of Rubicore 2 on monday 😉
Nice! We are waiting for your impressions
I just had to pause and hit my Dali Suite then hit my Marantz 6G's. Yup, solid. I have had for about 17 years. They have been good and have no plans to swap. I use with a NAD amp, Sony disc player and Garrard Zero 100 turntable.
I’d really like to hear your opinion about Devialet Phantom gold, in comparison with Bang&Olufsen, and you’ve heard a lot of them, and you can tell a lot of things, Thank you 😊
It's one you'll have to try for yourself, only you can decide that. I've had limited time with the Devialet, marketed for how much bass it can throw out and how loud it plays, really not for me but a good party speaker and they look really funky.
Some of the B&O products can sound nice and they are pretty, you pay a huge premium for how it looks and the badge, like any so called 'luxury' brand. They hold their value a little better as prices constantly go up. Some people love the exclusivity of B&O, you can achieve better sound for a lot less in my opinion.
If I was picking an all in one I would consider the Naim Mu-so products, Sonus Faber Omnia or some of the Bowers & Wilkins Formation range. Personally I think they offer better value. But that's just me :-) - John
I like the grilles. The Dali house sound is good. A better veneer would raise them.
Hi, John! Can you tell me please, how they perform over rubicon 2, wich you have also on your channel
Hi, it depends on your source and amp really, in my experience the Rubikore are just that bit more advanced than Rubiocon. The Rubicon are fantastic for the price but I think Rubikore are that bit more detailed and expansive, they just sound cleaner somehow, particularly if you partner them with good quality electronics. - John
@@Peter-Tyson thanks🙏
So the rubikore is above rubicon but below epicon?
@@ganck1147 Exactly 🙂. Rubicon - Rubikore - Epicon - Epikore - Kore.
@@Peter-Tyson approx price for the rubikore 2?
Delving into the home audio waters as it were, the Dali speakers seem quite nice, although a bit on the pricey side. I'm considering the Martin Logans XT B100 bookshelf speakers with which to dip my toes, given the small room I have(approx. 12'x14'), their price point of about 1,600 a pair works quite well with my budget. Opinions on this matter would be most appreciated.
Hi, I've not heard the Martin Logan so I can't make fair comment. This video may help though if you've not already seen it. ua-cam.com/video/304OcCVJlp4/v-deo.html
My go to speakers tend to be B&W, DALI and lovely lovely Sonus Faber. All worth a listen. - John
@@Peter-Tyson Fair enough, thanks for the info.
