It's kind of sad how Kowloon Walled City was demolished.I will forever be fascinated by it and always thank Shenmue 2 for introducing me to it many years ago ❤️🌃
@@Hendy1985 During the later years it was actually pretty safe to visit I’ve heard, the HK police would patrol the main corridors to stop people getting hurt, and although gang activity took place people weren’t mugged or attacked too often, at least not on main corridors. A lot of HK natives who lived outside of the city would visit to eat at the various noodle restaurants and snack bars, the food was so cheap that you could get each snack for as little as 1 modern US cent, and the noodles were considered some of the best in HK. Dentists were also shockingly common, at some points almost every externally facing business in the city was an unlicensed dentist. They were riskier than those in HK, but a lot cheaper. I would’ve loved to actually see it for myself, although I know I would’ve hated it, it’s just so fascinating to imagine that this city once existed and there’ll never be anything quite like it anywhere else ever again.
Speechless, this is just the cream of the crop of video Game OSTs. I love how they have an OST for every area. Its like each area has its own style and feel and tells a different story. This game is WAY ahead of its time letalone the OSTS.
@ Top Floors 2, Did anyone else get that horror movie vibe from the song and the building? and I believe one of those was ghost building and another one with that song and you can hear people fighting from echoes at the distance and I wasn't sure if it was ghosts or where the thugs were fighting for money in organized crime
Shenmue 3 came out and I would love to play it in the future but right now I am learning Chinese, I need a job, and move out.. This soundtrack is great for learning chinese to

From what I’ve read it was a dangerous place to live or visit, but if I could have been safe there I would have loved to go myself for sure! 🙂❤️

I still remember my feeling when i was in this part of the game. So amazing !
Third CD of Shenmue II was definitely the best.
Ça c'est bien vrai khey
THE DREAM HAS BEEN REALIZED! SHENMUE 3 IS REAL!
this year it is...yeah yeah..i waited 16 Years :)
The dream turned into a nightmare.
Unfortunately
Yeah, I LOVED Shenmue and Shenmue II, but Shenmue III was absolutely horrible.
@@Incubusnut not really horrible,i liked it...just because i'm a Big fan...but i agree, Shenmue III was not very good
Shenmue I & II were so badass. Amazing games with so much character and soul
I always come back to this. There are so many beautiful pieces.
Even the pieces for when you're walking down a fucking hallway.. Jesus
I wished to go real Kowloon, but its not there anymore..
Yes it is. I just came back from a trip to Hong Kong. My hotel was in Kowloon.
Brian Ghezelaiagh Mate he meant kowloon walled city. look it up ;)
orbita1 ah it was taken down in 1997 precise the date that Hong Kong and Macau became a Special Administration cities of China
Wouldn't be as cool as in the game, man. It was an ungoverned mess.
A bad man It was probably really dodgy, you had to be careful all the time of pick pockets, living conditions were bad and it was a poor area I think.
Been eagerly awaiting this one! Many thanks for all the music compilations you put together :D
Kowloon was my favourite Location in Shenmue II.
It will always be doubita for me
@@kidpresentable6004 Dobuita isn't in the game, Kid Moe.

Huang's room sounds like a Chinese shroom trip
love this game beyond words
Very cool montages here. Shenmue II's music hardly makes sense without the atmosphere so this is a good contribution.
Un grand merci ! Thank you so much !
Like listening to echoing music from the darkest, strangest and most beautiful dream I can remember.
Brings back so many memories!
Oh my God! I´CANT WAIT FOR SHENMUE 3 I SO HAPPPY

Спасибо!
Yus! Keep it coming : )
Thank You! :D
Does anyone have the chinese violin music played by the blind man at Dragon Street?
So is this the full Shenmue 2 OST? I apologize I'm just confused.
Bigrog1988 This is music from the Kowloon section of the game. Basically an area, not the whole game.
Just the music from the Kowloon chapter
Сижу и кайфую под пивком
