Once again a fantastic video, my friend! I think there is nothing to argue, simply share my memories related to these titles. Actually, I was really disappointed with Turbo Out Run, for me it was unplayable😉, while Out Run Europe was really good. I didn"t knew Crack Down, looks great and I'll try it with my son. And thanks for let me know about a recent Wonder Boy port, absolutely need to try! About the other titles... nothing to add, great games all. Some titles are not excellent ports but are anyway very nice (as you said about Shinobi, scrolling could be better but the game is ok). Great video and thanks for these memories ❤
Thank you kindly, sir. Yes, Crack Down is certainly worth trying it's not up there with the likes of The Chaos Engine, but it's worth trying out, and I had fun playing it. Now Wonderboy, you must try because it's really good and true to the arcade. Obviously, the last few games are absolute classics and not much more to add there. It just shows that you should never trust a review fully. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video. 👍🕹
Ranked all 36 Amiga games that came from SEGA using Tier Maker. Super Hang-On, Super Monaco and Golden Axe were the definite highlights. Remember giving Shinobi 0.5/5 when I reviewed it for Games-X back in 1991!
There are some good Arcade conversions, and there are some bad conversions - especially for the Commodore 64 and Amiga. In my opinion, these are absolutely the best Arcade conversions ever on the Amiga: - DYNAMITE DÜX - BONANZA BROS. - SUPER HANG-ON - SPACE HARRIER - SHADOW DANCER - OUT RUN - TURBO OUT RUN - GOLDEN AXE - SUPER WONDER BOY, A.K.A. WONDER BOY IN MONSTERLAND - ALIEN SYNDROME - POWER DRIFT I had OUT RUN EUROPA for my Amiga 500 as one of the Kixx games, and, sadly, it was a dissapointment for me. THUNDER BLADE was OK on the Amiga. I just remembered, that i still have these arcade conversions... - GALAXY FORCE - POWER DRIFT ...for my Commodore 64 as the tape versions. Thanks for an awesome retrospective Amiga game video. A big retrospective like 👍🕹️ from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮. 😺👍🕹️
The super hang-on version the Amiga got is better than the malegadrive actually (well the megadrive arcade mode at least, because it has that career mode as well). Runs smoother and more importantly, plays a lot better with the option for mouse control which essentially gives you analogue controls. Also I really did not care at all for the career mode on the Megadrive anyway...
Wasn't bothered by the career mode either, and the Amiga version is an amazing port. The mouse is a must, and like you said, it is more analogue and better for the bends. 🕹👍
Hi Gary! I think this video could be even better if you add for a couple of second a gameplay from Sega console for viewer to see a comparison between the version. Just a thought. Tace care!

😮 I need to check that out.
Gold axe brilliant conversion for the Amiga and Mortal Kombat too. Just showed what could be done if coders took more care, unlike street fighter 2
SF2 was such a great disappointment. Golden Axe and Mortal Kombat are amazing ports. Thanks for watching. 👍🕹
Agree with your list here! 👍
Thank you. 🕹 👍

Great detail has always Ari. Powerdrift and Alien Syndrome I really didn't play back then, so off to the Amiga I go. There is always a part 2. 👍🕹

Wow, that's a great idea. I will keep that in mind next time. 👍🕹
Did you know that recently an excellent version of pengo has been produced for the Amiga ?
No, I didn't know that. I certainly need to check that out. 👍
@@garygillgaming as far as I can tell 99.9% arcade perfect
