I tried this braid on my husband. I watched your video 3 times to be sure I understood. You are an amazing teacher!! Of course it was lopsided with one side being bigger than the other. I'm sure I'll get better at it. Now I'm going to try it on his scalp rather than a ponytail. He has breakage on his head and I think this will allow me to catch all those short hairs. Big bonus.....my husband loved it!! Thank you so much!!!

Thank you. I learned how, probably differently, from a Native American at a Pow wow and taught her how to do braid with 3 pieces. Now, my hair has multiple colors and will look AMAZING braided in several different ways. Subscribing! I learn fast. This is easy!!!
I taught myself how to French braid in the 80s and used to style my hair differently almost daily in junior to high school. Now, I'm 50 and still love having fun with much longer hair, down to my elbows.

I am determined to learn this! My hair is down to my waist,the longest I've ever had it in my 57 years.I went out to the shed and found an old cheap nylon wig that's been collecting cobwebs,along with the styrofoam head form which I tied down to a small side table...I have never been one to spend a lot of time with the "primping thing" but I want so badly to do some of these wonderful non complicated (rollers,gel, all that stuff) The more natural & classic the more flattering I think they are.BUT ! I've been practicing on this plastic Chinese cheap wig and I'm getting it thanks to you! Now to just get down solid to do on my own hair!

OMG! You totally made this braid so easy to do, well, the explanation anyway! I always wanted to learn how to do this style of braid and I just did one and it came out pretty damned good! I will keep practicing and will add some Viking beads for flair, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU! You rock!

Omg this was actually really helpful! I practiced on one of my dolls and it came out amazing! I was struggling and getting kinda mad but then I got the hang of it and it was easy. I'm never doing regular braiding ever again lol!
